It is a hotel for adults only, so it is very quiet. The modest but clean rooms with details that show that they care about the customers. The lovely team, made us feel at home. Breakfast is from 9 to 11 buffet with products, pastries and sausages in the area. They prepare a pitcher of freshly squeezed orange juice that is wonderful. It consists of an "honesty bar" to which you can go at any time, just write down what you take from the fridge in a little notebook :) Thanks Gemma, Marta and the other members of the team for taking such good care of us!

Fantastic experience: The staff were so friendly and kind. We checked in and a member of staff brought us to the room and showed us around. That's 5 star treatment. Our room was fully equipped with an electric kettle, packets for coffee and tea, bottles of water, toothbrushes and toothpaste, personal tissues... These little luxuries are not usual for most hotels and made everything extra special. Breakfast was typical Catalan fair, different types of cold meats and cheeses, hard boiled eggs, tortilla, plus cereals and yogurt. Location is literally steps away from everything. Check in and out was easy.

The hotel is ideally located very close to the iconic bridge and is perfect to discover Besalú in just a few hours. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet; just what we needed. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of fresh local products. However, the highlight of our stay were those absolutely breathtaking breakfast views overlooking La Garrotxa. This was a stay we will always remember.

Just arriving they treated my partner and me very kindly. They showed us our room and the common areas of terrace (beautiful), dining room for breakfast, etc. The rooms are very spacious and modern. The orange juice for breakfast is squeezed once you enter the dining room, the typical sausages of the region, the pasta, all very correct. I am celiac and they gave me, so I could have a good breakfast, cereals, bread, toast and gluten free cupcakes. Besalú is a beautiful place and if the accommodation is Casa Marcial, the stay will be fantastic. If we ever have to go back to sleep in the area, we have no doubt that we need not look anywhere else. We will be back!
