The last month of the year and one of the coldest, but also the month with the most magic. It has maximum temperatures of 13ºC and the minimum temperatures are around 3ºC. Frosts develop far from the coast and rainfall is scarce.

The temperature of the Mediterranean Sea is 13ºC, so it is unlikely that you will be able to swim as it will be very cold. Although there is sun for about seven or eight hours, we must bear in mind that the wind that blows is cold and that can give us the feeling that the ambient temperature is lower than it really is.

During this last month of the year, Christmas is celebrated in different towns on the Costa Brava. Llançà dresses up for Christmas and throughout the month you can enjoy different activities for all audiences, from the smallest to the largest. You can also walk through the oldest living nativity scene in Catalonia, the one in Castell d'Aro, but there are also others in Bàscara, Pals or Santa Pau. In addition, December is full of Quinas in which the whole family can participate and wish for a prize.
