Wide variety of skewers and very efficient service, friendly and with a smile (despite the work). Vi de l'Empordà (of the house) very good and rhythm of rotation of the more than acceptable food. I recognize that I initially struck me (and negative) having to queue just to know if there was availability and being able to sign up for the list, but I recognize that with the volume of people passing there, it is the only way to manage it. We were lucky enough to have dinner at the table against the sea and the experience was wonderful. A different and perfect dinner.

If you are lucky and get a table outside, you will enjoy an amazing view over the little town and the sea. The food is great but it gets very busy and you have to wait for a long time but it is worth it!

Fantastic experience: The Calau tapas bar in Calella is a real must-see institution in the Costa Brava. One of the best tables in Catalan gastronomy. You have to book, otherwise you have to wait for an hour and a half outside. The waiting list is long. There is nothing to say about the value for money.

When the table is available, you receive an SMS notifying you that you already have it ready. You can get the tapas yourself at the bar. And they also go through the tables with hot tapas. Each lid has a type of toothpick and each one has a price. At the end, they tell you the toothpicks and so they know the tapas you have ordered.

Fantastic experience: A nice place located close to the beach. The consept is a buffet of a wide selection of tapas like small selections. The price is decent and of course you can pick your own favourite tapas. It is clean and the staff takes the covid-19 restriction seriously.

Sadly we couldn't come during summer last year as I was expecting a baby so unable to fly. This year we hope to come but may delay due to Covid -19. We wish the staff well and hope to see you soon!

Fantastic experience: This tapas bar in Calella was an excellent new discovery and I highly recommend it for vegetarians as well as meat and fish eaters. It serves the best veggie tapas I've ever had. The customer chooses from the array of dishes in the bar area and the offerings include wild mushroom croquettes, mini squares of toast with melted goats cheese and honey, a pea and bean mini salad and staff were quick to offer to adapt dishes with meat into veggie appropriate options as well. With a small outside seating area, and a lovely view of the sea, I can't recommend it highly enough.
