About El Racó de Madremanya
In one of the most beautiful towns on the Costa Brava, Madremaña, there is a charming 4-star hotel located. This is El Racó de Madremanya, a rural accommodation that applies the adults-only philosophy. Thus, children are not accommodated in these facilities, but they are only enjoyed by adults.
The location is really good, since besides enjoying Madremaña and its medieval charms you can also visit other places that are located within walking distance, from a big city like Girona to a small and beautiful municipality like Pals.

Every detail of the house, the decoration, the background music, the sound of the water invite you not to leave the house. The garden is spectacular, well cared for and the two swimming pools, one with salt water, will delight anyone. The interior living room is a little gem to admire, the vaulted ceilings together with the fireplace and the decoration make it a spectacular and overwhelming corner. A ten in cleanliness, everything is pristine and with an effective Covid protocol. Especially recommended for all tourists fleeing the noisy crowds of conventional tourism. Great breakfast, fresh fruit, quality local cold cuts, homemade sweets, cereals and they cook fried eggs or omelettes at the moment. Very rich natural orange juice. The dinner was also very good, two first courses and two second courses to choose from, all homemade, with quality products, well prepared and presented at a reasonable price. The standard room with a terrace was very clean and beautiful, as quiet as the surrounding home. As an aspect to improve, I would change the pillows, which personally were not too comfortable for me, even so the quality of sleep is great due to the deathly silence and the environment. There are several rooms and it really is a matter of looking and choosing for personal taste. I have tried three Red Suit, Ocher Suit and Beige Suit. They are incredible and I could not have had a better stay, because of the cozy decoration and the bed, really comfortable. On the other hand, breakfast and dinner are spectacular and value for money is well worth it.
