Fantastic experience: We weren't at the hotel, but we ate at the restaurant. The restaurant is located on a terrace with beautiful views. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is very good - they offer a good selection between "classic" dishes such as Steak Diane or Filet Wellington and seasonal dishes. The letter doesn't change much from year to year, but it's a safe bet. We recommend trying the "arrossejat", it is very good. It is a place that combines very high quality with very generous portions. We will be back next year.

Fantastic experience: It had been a few years since we had dinner at the hotel. The location, ambiance and service has always been excellent but we found the food old fashioned and very heavy. This time we both had fish main course and they were beautifully cooked and full of flavor, while being not to rich and heavy. We will definitely being dining here on our next trip to Aigua Blava.

Fantastic experience: We only visited the restaurant and haven't stayed at the hotel (yet). Parking for about 50 cars at the entrance. First class hotel / restaurant. The views from any table in the restaurant are impressive. The tables are spacious and well separated from each other so that the conversation between the diners is discreet and without noise from others. There is a maitre d who approaches the tables to make sure that everything is to the satisfaction of the customers, to make suggestions or recommendations. The service of the waiters is attentive and polite without being intrusive, for me perfect. The dishes are amazing. The lobster rice is possibly one of the best I have ever had and if you look at the reviews I have tried many. The preparation, presentation and points of the food is perfect. The restaurant terrace, in addition to the views, is very well equipped with umbrellas that cover the entire surface. Overall, taking into account the facilities, views, service, product and cuisine, this is one of the best restaurants on the Costa Brava. We will be back without a doubt.

Fantastic experience: Finding a good hotel by the sea on the Costa Brava is complicated but the Aigua Blava is a very good option if you are not looking for a beach in front of you. Its magnificent location on the rock and among pine trees offers beautiful views and starting the day with breakfast on the terrace-restaurant is the total relaxation of your holidays. To get to the different coves-beaches in the area, it is done by walking paths (pay attention to good shoes!) Or by car. Staff of the 2 restaurants very friendly and managers very attentive to the customer. Its distribution in different buildings adapting to the profile of the coast, makes the choice of room complicated but trying to avoid the side facing the street with more people passing to the small port, I think they should all be quite quiet. Decoration in common part and very nice rooms with comfortable beds. I think the hotel deserves more than the 4 stars of its classification.

A hotel of this category and rates would have to improve the menu as well as the crockery and glassware. The views and the bath from the platform, if you like rock bathing, it is the best on the entire coast. 10. Family atmosphere and quality. We were given room 90, very cozy and completely renovated. The only thing is, that being on top of the terrace where there is service all day; breakfast, lunch and dinners. Much noise, smells and little privacy. The paella is definitely worth to try there. If you stay in room 50a or 50 b you even have your own private beach entrance. Further more the staff was very kind and professional. Fantastic experience: This is my favourite hotel in the world. I spent many a happy family holiday here while in my childhood and teenage years and then again with my own family for many years after that. A truly wonderful experience. From being welcomed on arrival by the late Xiquet Sabater and his family at reception, to being looked after in the restaurant by Luis and his staff and onwards to fabulous nights in Chez Henry with Pepe, Angelo and Manolo behind the bar. The memories of this beautiful place will stay with me forever. I live in the US now so sadly have not been for a while, but I'll be back.

To highlight the friendliness of the staff and the quality of its restaurant and although its only but could be the price, the portions are abundant and the quality is consistent with it. Fantastic experience: Excellent hotel. Good location, service and food. Great friendliness from the staff, everyone from the bellhop to the restaurant waiter. Very good menu and fresh products. The buffet well organized even in times of COVID, everything is well sanitized and the pool too. To put something but, it is the cleaning of the rooms but to say it is clean and everything is great. It has free private parking for clients and supervised. Hopefully we can come back soon. Thanks for everything.

We booked our trip not knowing the area at all before we arrived and we could not believe our eyes - you drive all the way to this secluded cove to get to the hotel and we loved that it was away from the high rises and touristy areas. There were many amazing places to swim within walking distance, and you could even jump in the water just outside the hotel. The staff was so amazing and friendly. We were in room 5 which had a view of the little cove and some of the hotel and it was just beautiful. We sat on our terrace in the afternoons after a day in the ocean and I only wish we could have stayed longer!! Just amazing in every sense of the word. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My review is about the restaurant: impeccable service, attentive and professional, comfortable and pleasant stay on the terrace with views and delicious dishes with a lot of flavor. Great variety of dishes (meat, fish, cold and hot starters). The delicious paella, with a lot of flavor. It is not cheap (first, second and dessert plus wine for more than 50 euros per person), but it is worth it if you go to Aiguablava and want to eat well after a dip in one of the coves around.

However, you don't need to move from here since the restaurant was also excellent, with lots of local foods options. Fantastic experience: There is just something special about Aiguablava. The location is just perfect and the staff are so friendly. You can wander along to the beach on the coast path or head inland to explore Begur, Pals and more. This is truly a great base to explore the Costa Brava from. I have never been disappointed by the food on the set menu in the evening, whether it be a dish I am familiar with or one which I have never tried before. The waiting staff are always very friendly and attentive, particularly Luis, who is a credit to the hotel. From our nicely sized room we had an excellent view of the bay and coastline. I have been visiting Aiguablava for the past 10+ years with my family and nothing has ever changed here. Consistency is key and Aiguablava has mastered a friendly and welcoming hotel experience.
