En el paraje de La Miana disfrutamos de una panorámica espectacular sobre el Pirineo y de una tranquilidad sin igual. Este lugar dispone de los elementos necesarios para volver a conectar con la naturaleza.
Ideal para escapadas de fin de semana, vacaciones, celebraciones, seminarios, actividades para grupos, etc. Cualquier oportunidad es buena para venir a Can Jou, detener el tiempo y disfrutar del medio natural.
Disponemos de 12 habitaciones, todas con baño, y con amplios espacios comunes, interiores y exteriores, para que disfrutes tu estancia en nuestra Masía, tanto con la familia como con los amigos.
Nuestro rico entorno dispone de innumerables senderos para caminar y disfrutar de la montaña, hacer rutas en bicicleta y encontrar parajes perdidos donde poder bañarse en verano.

Fantastic experience: This place is very particular and recommended only for those who seek a true disconnection, tranquility and independence from plugs and things that go beyond eating well and resting. The owners are very friendly and attentive people, you have to notify in advance if you want to have dinner and / or breakfast (it is very far from urban centers and you buy in advance) and despite the fact that we did not do it, they got us a menu. Very close to beautiful towns such as Besalú or the La Garrotxa Natural Park. It is accessed by a very narrow path that only goes up to these particular places in the middle of the mountain, it must be taken into account if you are afraid to drive and maneuver through these types of paths. In any case, it is highly recommended and a great time to be able to play with the owners' dogs, as well as listen to the roosters and chickens or see the mares running around. A small paradise without pretensions and without missing anything.

Not only because of its location, lost in the middle of a lush forest but with enviable views, but also because of the treatment they give you from the moment you arrive. You can tell that they manage it from the heart and with a lot of affection. The room was cared for down to the last detail, with a beautiful terrace. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, as they have a chef (his neighbor!) With more than 20 years of experience, and it seemed like you were eating in a Michelin star restaurant. With a beautiful pool with spectacular views of the Garrotxa. And if you like to drive, an incredible road with curves between trees, which at times takes you to other corners of the world. It's been a long time since a place had so pleasantly surprised us. We will be back for sure !!

Fantastic experience: We have spent a fabulous couple of days at José and Gloria's apartment. A quiet and familiar environment, with fantastic views and an environment that invites you to explore. 100% recommended.
Fantastic experience: The house is at the top of a hill and has very good views. The place is quiet and excursions can be made. There is a pool that we really appreciated (the views from the pool are also great). The room was spacious and had a wonderful terrace. A complete and good breakfast, they put a buffet with bread with tomato, sausages, yoghurts, cereals, muesli, jams ... They also make you omelette or fried egg (from their chickens). Dinner is convenient because if you do not need to take the car. It costs 20 € / person (July 2020) and they strive to make varied and original dishes every day. Very friendly and close owners. They have made us feel comfortable. Now, it is difficult to get there, the road from St Jaume is narrow, sloping and with many bends. There is also no wifi (for us a plus). Take a good look, if you are thinking of an accessible place as a base for many car trips it may not be what you are looking for.

Fantastic experience: We have just been two nights in this beautiful place and it is ideal if you want to disconnect. The last kilometers are a bit narrow but worth it. There is no Wi-Fi, or television, that if you are going to relax, it is not necessary, since there is a nice room to rest and read and beautiful landscapes to enjoy. There is also no hair dryer because the electrical installation is made of solar panels so power equipment cannot be connected. But the couple that runs the hotel are very nice and they left me theirs and connected the generator in the morning so I could use it. Breakfast and dinner are very good with quality products from the area. We have been very comfortable and calm thanks to them, it was what we were looking for.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I stayed in Can Jou at the beginning of August and absolutely loved it. We even extended our stay because we had such a lovely time. The accommodation is simple but stylish and modern. We stayed in a room with a balcony that was really worth it. The views were stunning : greenery, trees everywhere, not a house in sight. The room was quiet and very comfortable. There was no TV, no WiFi and little phone network, which might be a worry for some, but we enjoyed the opportunity to disconnect. I liked that there was a common room and a library with books in English and Spanish to choose from. We stayed half-board and we're glad we did, because the drive to the place is not straightforward. The thought of doing it at night is a scary one! Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of food and drinks, as well as omelettes on demand. There was a lovely pool area which was often empty. The pool is a bit secluded from the hotel, which I liked. It sits on top of a hill and the views were breathtaking. Pure relaxation. We went there as a couple but many guests were there as a family and seemed to be well taken care of. The area is excellent for hikes but I must confess we loved the hotel so much we stayed there most days, reading on the balcony or by the pool... It was a perfect, really relaxing stay and we hope to come back in spring.
