What made it difficult for us was that we were there in July when it was very hot. We know hot places in Italy and there, old farmhouses with their thick stone walls are usually nice and cool, but Mas Tarres is not. Casa Pi is rented out with 2 bedrooms, but 1 bedroom became so hot (30.4 °C) that it was unusable. We moved the 2 beds to the living room and then it worked. Still, we had to pay the full rental amount. We thought that was unfair. Another downside is that during the season it takes 45 minutes to drive to the beach. That's longer than we expected based on Google Maps (25 min. in light traffic). By the way, we find the landlords to be nice people.
