Positive experience: This is the second time, but there won't be a third. We rented two gravel bikes and an electric one to do the Northern Way on asphalt. The bikes are good. Specifically, the electric bike has spectacular autonomy (120 km and 1600 m of elevation without recharging, as we were able to verify). Unfortunately, the tuning of the bikes and the follow-up service from the company did not meet our expectations. All three bikes were delivered with the gears misaligned to greater or lesser degrees, making it difficult to change cogs and/or chainrings. Two tubes were losing air (one had to be changed as soon as we started), and out of the three spares, two were also punctured. One of the gravel bikes was delivered with the brake levers completely out of place and had to be repositioned. On the first day, all anomalies were reported via email to the company without any acknowledgment of receipt, although the next day they said that they had indeed read it. On the second day, the chain of one of the gravel bikes broke despite the care we took in using it with the hope of finishing the stage and looking for a mechanic, because from the beginning it was clear that it wouldn't hold up. A couple of days later, another chain broke, this time due to wear. Assuming that these things can happen, we didn't like the reaction of the person responsible with whom we communicated because, from the beginning, they blamed the first break on improper use of the bike and accused us of being too demanding and not knowing how to change a patch. They paid for the repairs but did not want to cover the transport to the workshop we were forced to hire, not even to share the cost as we proposed, something that would have been a reasonable solution in our opinion. In summary, a bad experience.
