Manel gave plenty of information about what we were going past, what lived in the waters and recommendations for local restaurants. For €25 per person for 2 hours of kayaking, this is an enjoyable and interesting experience without breaking the bank. Me and my gf were staying in st. Susanna, we got in contact with Manel, our guide, through whatsapp. He picked us up at our hotel and took us to the docks of Blanes to give us instructions before getting in to the water with the kajaks.
We had to practice a little bit, since we're first timers. Then we went on our way in the direction of Lloret de mar next to the cliffs, while our guide gave instructions and some cultural background.
We found a quiet place where the water was calmer and we could leave our kajaks and get into the water to explore with our snorkles.
All in all a very pleasant experience and our guide Manel was very kind and even brought us to Lloret afterwards where we could explore some more of the Costa Brava.. :D
