About Teatre-Museu Dalí

Plaça Gala i Salvador Dalí, 5 - 17600, Figueres
+34 972 67 75 00

The Dalí Theatre-Museum (4.5 out of 5 rating on Museumspedia.net), the largest surrealist object in the world, occupies the building of the old Municipal Theater, a 19th century building destroyed at the end of the Civil War. On these ruins, Dalí decided to create his museum.

The different collections of the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation include works of art of all kinds: paintings, drawings, sculptures, engravings, installations, holograms, stereoscopies, photographs, etc. Of these, some 1,500 are exhibited at the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres.

Under the name of Dalí Theatre-Museum, three different museum spaces are grouped together that offer visitors a free and personal route through their rooms:

  • 1) The Theatre-Museum proper, formed by the old Municipal Theater burned down, which becomes a Theatre-Museum based on the criteria and design of Salvador Dalí himself. This set of spaces integrates a single artistic object in which each element constitutes an inseparable part of the whole.
  • 2) The group of rooms resulting from the progressive expansions of the Theatre-Museum, in which Dalí's personal intervention is testimonial or non-existent. In these rooms, numerous works from the artist's legacy, stereoscopic works and installations, anamorphisms as well as the new acquisitions of the Foundation are exhibited.
  • 3) The Dalí·Joyas showrooms, opened in 2001, with the thirty-nine gold jewels and precious stones from the old Owen Cheatham collection, two jewels executed at a later time and the previous designs made by the painter.

Apart from the creations of Salvador Dalí, you can also see works by other artists whom the painter invited to exhibit in his Museum, such as Antoni Pitxot and Evarist Vallès, as well as pieces belonging to the painter's private collection, signed by artists such as El Greco, Marià Fortuny, Modest Urgell, Ernest Meissonier, Marcel Duchamp, Gérard Dou and Bouguereau. In different spaces of the Theatre-Museum, works by John De Andrea, Wolf Vostell, Meifrèn and Ernst Fuchs are also presented.

Since the death of Salvador Dalí, in 1989, you can also visit the crypt with his tomb, located in the center of the Museum; this space was remodeled in 1997 to house a collection of gold jewelry designed by the artist.

Teatre-Museu Dalí: Reviews

Positive experience: Unique museum as it is of the most delirious artist of our time. The most recognized works were missing. A plus is that the museum entrance includes the jewels. The approximate visiting time is about 2h-2:30h to see it well

Fantastic experience: A total immersion in Dalí's genius madness! Visiting the Salvador Dalí Theatre-Museum is not just an excursion, it's a journey into the subconscious of one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. I highly recommend it

VÍCTOR VIRGÓS 16/05/2025

Fantastic experience: For those of us who are true lovers of the grotesque work of this genius of artistic creation in its most delirious expressions, this visit is a must. Surrealist painter, overflowing imagination, together with his wife, Gala, made their lives a legend where eroticism, the idea of life and death transformed into ants, insects, eggs, or melting clocks conspire. A character, as reviled as he is idolized, mad, genius, lived a permanent battle with himself, as well as in the social and family sphere. All this is explained very well if you take a guided tour. His entire work is a marvel: Mae West's room is an unmissable classic, with those red lips that are an armchair and those curtains for hair. Works to meditate on, trying to find the nonexistent logic, integral nudes, grotesque animals, a Cadillac just upon entering that was the one he used on the day of his wedding. You have to come see it to peek into the madness and genius of this prophet of Cadaqués.

Fantastic experience: Incredible place where there is a huge amount of works by Dalí. We can appreciate the different moments of the genius, and the museum was designed by him. His tomb is also there. Most are surrealist works, but there is an impressive variety.

Positive experience: Too many people at once (lots of groups) to enjoy it comfortably. Maybe they should mix individual visits less with group ones. Nobody indicates anything about the route; it’s not difficult, but given the cost of the ticket, a certain level of attention would be appreciated; for example, upon entering, they should explain how it will be. I waited a while in the cloakroom and no one showed up, so I ended up carrying my things throughout the tour. I can definitely value the attention of the ticket sales employee very positively; she was very helpful.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful Museum. The only thing I can say that was annoying is the number of non-local children with zero respect for the place or the people visiting it (screaming, kicking the air like playing ninjas, another hitting the walls, etc), I think there should be more control and restriction on this type of behavior in these places.

Positive experience: A must-see in the area, but with a lot of people, even at the end of April, it doesn’t allow you to be in front of the works for more than a few seconds. Very elaborate, labyrinthine museography, and with interesting artists (Piranesi among others). Information about Dalí's life is needed, even if it is less glorious for the character (his relationship with García Lorca, his sister, with the surrealists and why they distanced themselves…). Special thoughts for the young woman at the cloakroom that we crossed in Girona the day before who was super nice!

Jesus Sanchez 27/04/2025

Positive experience: The museum, the theater, and Dalí's work are well worth it, although I find the ticket prices excessive. It's preferable to buy tickets in advance, as they may not be available at the box office on the same day. Crowding on weekends and the system of turns can be improved. With the ticket, you can enter the Museum of Empordà and you get a discount at the Toy Museum and the Dalí House-Museum.

Susana Fernandez 25/04/2025

Fantastic experience: A space beyond all logic, with the genius of being crowned by eggs and with all the essence of Dalí. Every corner has a detail that surprises you, the seating area with its central artwork is magnificent, but the curtain part with that glass dome simply leaves you speechless. The rest of the corridors and rooms houses very recognizable works of the painter. A must-stop for any art lover.

Ander Perez 24/04/2025

Positive experience: This review is different; it goes for people who are accompanying others and are not interested in art and similar things. It’s a museum of a guy who was crazy and makes sculptures and totally random things (some are disturbing). The museum can be seen in about two hours (taking photos and such). There are 4 floors (no elevator) but the last one is not Dalí’s, it’s paintings by other people. The experience can become a bit overwhelming at times, as they let in a lot of people at once, and even though the place is big, there are narrow hallways, and people get crowded. There are some rooms with chairs to rest. As for the line, buy the ticket online, there are passes every 15 minutes so come at your time. If you come early, you will have to wait until your time, and don’t worry, even if there’s a line, you’ll get in anyway. (I believe that if you come 15 minutes later than your time, they won’t let you in, so don’t be late). The restrooms are fine, on the first floor. The souvenir shop is a robbery. Tips: *In the lips seat room, there’s like an altar with stairs that people climb to look through a kind of magnifying glass... It’s not worth waiting if there’s a line, it looks the same just with hair. *There are places to drop a coin; I saw someone drop it and literally throw the money away. *In the end, the best photo is the one you take outside, with the Figueras sign where the building is visible behind.

Positive experience: The staff both at the ticket office and inside the Museum were super friendly. Inside, overcrowded with the public, it was not possible to see the exhibited paintings, you had to keep dodging people. It did not turn out to be an enjoyable visit, if you cannot appreciate what you went to see.

In total.. you enter and from the stress after waiting a year.... YOU RUN OUT YOU CANNOT STAY INSIDE THIS MUSEUM. People brush against you, cut in front of you on the stairs, the halls are like a sandwich one in front and another behind and you are in the middle squeezed and rubbed by bellies.... Fantastic experience: Visiting the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres is a unique and surreal experience, just as Dalí himself would have wanted. From the moment you arrive, the architecture of the building immerses you in his dreamlike world. Inside, each room is a work of art in itself, with paintings, sculptures, and installations that showcase the artist's genius and eccentricity. The Mae West room and the impressive dome stand out. It’s a must-visit place for art lovers and Dalí enthusiasts. It is recommended to buy tickets in advance and take the time to enjoy every detail. An unforgettable visit!

Positive experience: Not suitable for people with reduced mobility, the structure of the theater makes it difficult, they told us. You have to climb up to 4 floors and there is no elevator, only a ramp at the entrance. The museum is very good, with a lot of security, well maintained and clean.

Alicia Ruiz Bravo 24/03/2025

Positive experience: We loved the museum! It is breathtaking, everything is clean and I really liked that there were works from different artistic periods of Dalí. SPOILER: I don't give it 5 stars for some suggestions I would like to make: the technique used in the paintings or works in general is never mentioned (only the year they were created), there is hardly any audio content about the works (the audio guide has super limited content and only provides a brief explanation of the first rooms) and many of the titles of the paintings and sketches have not been added (or maybe they never had an official name). On the other hand, I believe they should limit the number of people allowed per session or specify concrete times for high school students. In general terms, the museum is overcrowded with adults, children, or teenagers. Considering the cost of the admission, I think these items could be improved. Putting those points aside, the museum and the exhibitions are incredible.

PEDRO RAZQUIN ZAZPE 11/03/2025

Montse Llorens 04/03/2025

Positive experience: Crowds despite the reservation with time slots every fifteen minutes. The museum staff does not maintain any order regarding the noise and disorder occurring in the rooms. A deeply regrettable spectacle, especially from the French visitors. It is not possible to enjoy the experience of a wonderful museum. Better to go during the week and definitely not in the summer. Additionally, there are missing labels on some paintings, making it hard to understand their layout in the rooms. Poor management of the museum overall.

Fantastic experience: A must!! Buy the tickets online. The queue is for each time slot and it's quick. We took 12h, but the best time would be between 13h and 14h if you want to be more relaxed (we went in January and it was full). Keep in mind that it takes 2 hours if you want to enjoy it quietly... it's worth it! The bathrooms are quite acceptable. For parking: either parking or green zone. If you want to park for free, you have to park about 15-20 minutes away walking. That's what we did and well, especially after lunch, you appreciate the walk! By the way, in the room where the photo of the emeritus king is, we had a chat with Manel from the museum staff... how interesting everything he explained to us was! Thanks! Regarding the visit... just to say that it's not a museum to quickly pass through the halls... stop at each one and let the details surprise you... discover them little by little.

Fantastic experience: Incredible experience. Highly recommended to discover a wide variety of Dalí's works and the history of the museum's construction. I miss a biographical part. The order of the museum is like the artist... special, and that's why you have to pay attention not to miss any room since everything consists of disordered corridors and rooms. As a downside, there are some works that require a coin to interact, which I find tacky considering the entrance fee is €19. People with reduced mobility have no facilities to access the rooms or enjoy some artworks. Highly recommended!

Julia Giacoboni Galizzi 30/11/2024

Fantastic experience: The Museum is spectacular! If you like Dalí, you can't miss it. Go with time, as it takes 2 hours or more if you want to explore it well. The NEGATIVE: it is completely self-guided (sometimes you have to ask for instructions because you get lost visiting rooms) and you have to put up with the mass tourism and the guides who block your way, they rush you... It takes away a bit of tranquility from the visit. The staff is average (some very good, others a bit grumpy/disdainful). Fantastic experience: Essential whether you like art or not. A labyrinth of Dalí's universe full of his most known works. Not suitable for baby strollers or wheelchair users (lots of stairs) narrow hallways. Full of visitors and I had to wait a while despite having bought the tickets online. Some rooms especially crowded. Despite everything, highly recommended, also for children. Don't miss the small and spectacular collection of jewelry designed by Dalí. I highly recommend visiting the official souvenir shop that is just to the left of the theater entrance: You can sit on the famous lips sofa and take home a fun memory in the form of a photo.

Fantastic experience: The Dalí Theatre-Museum is a must for art lovers and especially for Dalí followers. Although we must acknowledge that his most recognized works are spread around the world in other museums. What we like is to see his artistic journey and trajectory, which are very clear in this museum. If we had to point out a downside, it would be the amount of people considering you have a timed entry, but in August that is normal.

Fantastic experience: Pure surrealism. You might think he was crazy or that he had a privileged mind, but if you go to his house-museum, you must be the one to draw your conclusions. What you see there you won't see anywhere else. His painting and sculpting skills are attributed, they say, to the influence and admiration for Renaissance and even contemporary art. If you go to Figueras, don't miss the opportunity to contemplate his works.

Fantastic experience: A lot of people, although with patience you can see the works, strange since the style of E.S.Dalí is known by everyone. It would be appreciated if there were some signs with descriptions and interpretations of the paintings for the inexperienced. We paid €17 per person but starting from July 1st the price increases. Overall, it is an enjoyable and interactive visit, I took about 1.5 hours to finish the visit.

Positive experience: I completely understand that over 30 years ago, Dalí himself conceived it this way, but the person in charge has not adapted at all to the new times. The entrance, and it's better to do it with time, costs 19 euros. Inside, there is no kind of help to guide you on the path to follow. Dalinian, yes, but having machines with no explanations to drop coins at the beginning is shocking. Then you realize, without any help to know what they are for. They leave that for you to discover after dropping the coin, which ranges from 0.20 cents to one euro. Although it doesn't say anywhere, Dalí donated all his estate to the Spanish State..., I don't know who it depends on, but if it is ours, couldn't we pay a little less? His most representative works are also missed. Couldn't they put a copy? As a museum, for the price it has, it leaves much to be desired. As a visitor, I would have appreciated a little more guidance in the tour.

Fantastic experience: What can be added to the Dalí museum that hasn’t been said. I visited it many years ago and now that I have gone back, I loved it just the same. Positive experience: Greed breaks the bag. €17 per person to visit the museum (even with 4 rooms closed for maintenance and where no one warns you in advance), overbooking of tourists visiting it with the impossibility of seeing the works calmly, very tight time to visit everything in accordance with the visiting schedules, and also 30 minutes before closing the staff starts hurrying people to leave and you see them with their personal items (backpacks and jackets) because they want to close and leave... Using Dalí's fame to shamelessly profit seems regrettable to me. Despite all the negative aspects, Dalí's works are a luxury that compensated for everything else...

Fantastic experience: I traveled to Figueres exclusively to visit this place that I had already seen virtually. It was worth it because there is definitely a great exhibition of Dalí's work, mixed with some other pieces. I guided myself with the texts from the virtual visit and with the exploration using Google Lens. Whether you want to go just to look or you are truly interested in delving deeper, it's worth going with time. Personally, I took the tour slowly, so it took me three hours, with appropriate breaks. It's super interesting because there are different atmospheres and it breaks quite a bit with the solemnity of a museum. It's a shame that there doesn't seem to be a limit on capacity, because there were areas that took longer to move through, and stopping to look at some works was complex in certain spots.

Fantastic experience: A distinct experience, entering the world of Dalí through this atypical museum where in every corner you will find richness of details, you will not find the classic museum where works are displayed inside white galleries and the work is the only protagonist, it is an experiential museum. Creativity and ingenuity are everywhere, pay attention to the details and keep a keen eye on each station as there is visual richness in every corner. Few know that the artist's tomb lies there, in the main room you will only see a gray rectangle on the floor, without further indications or signs of anything. When you go down to one of the galleries you will see his name on the wall and nothing more. A note for parking about a 10-minute walk in the Aiguas park, which is free. Positive experience: The Salvador Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres stands as an artistic and wonderful monument that transports visitors to a unique surrealist universe. However, the grandeur of the theatre is slightly tarnished by somewhat narrow corridors, making the serene contemplation of the exhibited works challenging. Despite this small logistical inconvenience, the immersive experience offered by the museum is simply incredible, immersing spectators in a journey through time. Notably, the innovation imbued in every corner stands out, highlighting how many of Dalí's creations were pioneering for their time and continue to amaze to this day. The quality of the acrylics that safeguard the pieces is noteworthy, providing effective protection without compromising the clear view of the artworks. The museum's lighting is equally praiseworthy, contributing to enhancing the surreal beauty of each piece. Although logistical challenges are present in the corridors, the possibility of taking photographs adds extra value to the visit, allowing visitors to capture unforgettable moments. The presence of the iconic 'Christ of Saint John of the Cross' and the detailed narrative of the painting's creation process, accompanied by the bread in the basket, enrich the experience and make it something truly perfect. Moreover, the museum not only offers a deep insight into the brilliant mind of Salvador Dalí, but also displays a surreal exterior appearance, highlighted by the unmistakable eggs on the ceiling. Ultimately, a visit to the Salvador Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres is a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the world of surrealism, as long as one has the necessary time to fully enjoy this singular artistic experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been there twice, both during the day and at night, and it is absolutely beautiful. If I had to suggest a time, it would be at sunset to enjoy the surroundings, especially if you don't have the chance to visit it because you are on vacation. I really enjoyed the jewelry section because some pieces were impressively creative. - I recommend being prepared for a tour lasting 2 to 3 hours, which is how long it takes to leisurely explore the entire museum. If you need to go to the bathroom, you have to return to certain areas and time is wasted, so go to the bathroom before starting. If you need parking, there is parking behind the museum, but the price is between €2.50 and €3 per hour, and there is also parking behind the Tagliatella restaurant that costs the same. I suggest buying your tickets in advance because it is very busy throughout most of the year. If you choose to buy tickets at the museum, it's important to check the updated hours since they change throughout the year. It is a perfectly enjoyable activity to do with family, kids if they like art and creativity, as well as with couples or friends, it is also very fun.

Positive experience: Very beautiful museum, with different exhibitions, artworks, sculptures, and rooms, each with its own story behind it. However, it is much larger than it seems, so be prepared to walk and go up and down stairs, and it is definitely a must-stop in Figueres. The only downside is the issue of crowding and noise; the organization is very good because there are no problems with schedules, however, the people who are monitoring the rooms are sitting in wooden chairs for hours on end without doing anything. In some rooms, especially at the beginning, a lot of people gather, making it a bit overwhelming to see the artworks. People stand in the middle of the paintings and sculptures, making it impossible to see them in detail. Other than that, it is an exceptional place to visit. It is a different kind of art than you can see anywhere else in the world and a unique museum.

Positive experience: This museum is a different museum experience. Both for the space and for its content. The most recognized works of Dalí are not found in this museum, but there are other paintings and drawings by Dalí, his own tomb, works from his art collection, and iconic sculptures and objects. I recommend not to miss the collection of engravings of the imaginary prisons of Piranesi that are found on the staircase! For my taste, it is too crowded. Visiting a museum with so many people, many of the rooms being small in size, affects the visit. Buying tickets for unusual hours might be a good option. Tickets can be purchased online, although if you go to the ticket office you can buy for the same day. We had an issue on the scheduled date of the visit and they changed it very easily by calling on the phone and providing the reference or locator for the tickets. While you wait for your entry time, you can spend time at the Surrealist Bookstore that is in the same square, or visiting the Church of Sant Pere. It is a high price if not for it to be overcrowded with people afterwards and for kids to be touching the artworks without anyone saying anything… there were areas that could not be passed due to the number of people that were there. You find what you expect: a generous portion of the extravagant universe of Dalí squared, but also a very good collection of paintings and other artworks. A museum that will be interesting even for those who are indifferent to the fine arts. (€17).

Fantastic experience: It is a unique and spectacular place. There is art in every corner from the door to the very top. The general admission costs 17 euros per person. There is parking 100 meters from the museum and it has Via T service. There are works by Dalí from all artistic periods of his life and there are some exhibitions by other artists.

Positive experience: It is very famous, but honestly it is not that great. Very few works by Dalí (and almost none of the well-known ones), in addition to learning more about the author, disappointing (monarchist, bullfighting, narcissistic, sold himself to any brand, Picasso was right to accuse him of being right-wing and falangist). You might still need to visit the museum to get to know it and form an opinion, but overall disappointing. The jewelry section is the best.

Fantastic experience: I had been here before, although many years ago. Today we had the chance to revisit it. We came on a Saturday morning, there weren't too many people but it was busy. The museum is still wonderful and very well maintained. We loved it and it always surprises.

Fantastic experience: A must-visit in Figueres. Many interesting and eye-catching works in every corner. It's worth the price (16€). It takes about 1h-1h30min to see, although I recommend the guided tour, which will surely explain much beyond the visual. It is advisable to book tickets online and in advance (on the same day the early slots are usually sold out).

Fantastic experience: I can't think of a better plan for this city. Definitely a must-visit to the Dalí Theatre-Museum, an architectural work of art conceived by the artist originally from the city where it is located. There are 4 floors of works and more works by Dalí, from different periods, some of the most well-known are presented here. A space as surreal as his works, like entering his house, into his imagination, a journey that is definitely worth it even though the entrance is a bit pricey, it's worth every penny, I'm sure you won't regret it. I would do it again.

Positive experience: A life captured in several floors where you will need more than 2 hours to enjoy much of the artwork it has. A place to enjoy art, whether you understand it or not. On the other hand, from a place of ignorance, having many areas at 20.5°C was a feeling of cold you experienced. And you couldn't take all the time needed to enjoy some iconic areas.

Fantastic experience: After 38 years we have visited it again. A museum that should be visited without haste, savoring the work of the genius from Figueres. And, if possible, without bored infants who are not interested in art in the slightest.

Fantastic experience: The place is impressive and very well organized!! The reviews in each area clearly explain what happened in each period of the fort's existence! If you're going to Barcelona, this cannot be missed!! I would dare say I liked it more than the Alhambra!!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience to get close to Dalí, his life, his work, his personality, and everything that made him a genius. The guided tour is highly recommended, and if that tour is guided by Isabel (Bel), even better. She has been one of the best guides I have had due to her kindness, her knowledge, her good work, her clear and concise way of explaining in Spanish and English.... for her professionalism, in short.

Fantastic experience: You have to go, whether you like Dalí or not. If you are a fan of this 'genius', you will leave enchanted and eager to return, because it is impossible to see everything and soak it all in with detail. And if Dalí doesn’t mean much to you, you'll be amazed by the bright and magical spaces hidden behind his walls. It's like entering another dimension, into a world of overwhelming color and fantasy that will transport you to the deepest part of a dream never dreamed before; to a tramontana wind, calmed by Gala, that the poet of Ampurdán knew so well how to capture in his work. Dare to indulge in surrealism, it won't disappoint you.

Fantastic experience: It's the typical website that everyone should go to at least once. Whether you like art or not, whether you like it or not Dalí. We're talking about enjoying a very good experience. I don't consider myself an art lover, but honestly, I really liked it, both because of the museum itself (very worked) and Dalí himself (whether you like his work or not, you have to admit that he was a genius)

Fantastic experience: A surreal experience... Highly recommended. It's worth the 14 euros. They should only go with enough time to see every detail of the paintings, photos, and sculptures created by Salvador Dalí. A genius of perception.

Positive experience: The museum is actually quite curious. It doesn't leave you indifferent. There are things that you like better, others less, and others that are very strange. We had the advantage of enjoying it for free due to disability. I am honestly not sure if I would pay the 14 euros of the normal ticket, I was not so surprised to pay that amount, but at a lower price I recommend it because it is different from any other normal museum.

Fantastic experience: You breathe surrealism as soon as you see it from the outside... The experience is incredible. NOTE it doesn't have audio guides as such but the museum staff are the AUDIO GUIDES you need. They themselves indicate that you can ask them anything. Nothing like the other museums, they are very kind girls, in my case Mireiia and Emma attended to me and they didn't let me leave the museum sad (now I'll explain why) when they saw my disappointed face they took the time to explain to me in detail ALL the symbolism. From the wind room among other things and details. I congratulate them!!! because they do it with a lot of love and passion. For me it was a dream come true. I come from far away and since I was a kid I have admired Dalí and his work being here in this space was incredible being there in his crypt was indescribable... The place is worth visiting if you go to Barcelona and you like his work you must go see it. It is far but it is worth it. Unfortunately, personally, it left me with a bittersweet taste because the two paintings I came to see THE GALA OF THE SPHERES and THE ATOMIC LEDA one was loaned out and the other is under restoration I wanted them to open the restoration room for me hehehe but Mireiia and Emma tried to compensate for it very well.

Positive experience: The museum's layout is well done because you can see perfectly how it has developed in its work. All parts of the museum have some artistic detail, everything is clean. The only downside I see is that some places are so narrow that you end up in line, and to avoid feeling overwhelmed, it's better to skip some paintings. The prices of the two souvenir shops at the end of the museum are very high.

Fantastic experience: good good good nice load the visit to my life sooner possible it was a bit of a dream but well right now I am different after all the museum is great that I'm not telling you just because it is an artist Dalí deserves a lot of talent to achieve what he did nothing nothing nothing of time jjjjjajaja just kidding the man achieved very good and beautiful things like Leonardo da Vinci all this will happen at some point when you can visualize the museum in person or see how elegant it is a 10 excellent. thank you Dalí.

Positive experience: Exceeded my expectations, very beautiful, big, ideal for everyone and recommended. It doesn't get a 5 because in the small rooms; although there is security, they don't control whether 30 or 5 people enter. But it is something that should be visited!

Positive experience: The Museum is very nice and interesting. The only mistake is that too many people come in all at once and you can't see the Museum comfortably. And the fact that the visits are scheduled. And you could also clean better the bathroom that looked like that of a cheap bar. Apart from that great, highly recommended.

Positive experience: Full of works and details, you have to look at the ceiling, corners... At home one there is a detail. Space and work merge to make a unit. It is important to carry a coin of 1€ and 0.2€ for an interactive work that works with them. The circular corridors around the courtyard on the lower floor were closed, making it impossible to see some of the drawings well

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing. A must-visit. It costs 14 euros which I believe is worth it. It has 2 floors. In the center upon entering is his car and a spectacular patio. In the dome area, you can't miss any corner. At the end, there is also an exhibition of the jewelry he designed.

Fantastic experience: If you pass through Figueres, the Dalí Theatre-Museum is a must-see. It is better to book tickets online as they tend to sell out and it is difficult to find tickets at the box office. The museum is located in the old Theatre of Figueres, we can find all kinds of elements from Dalí: paintings, sculptures, figures, jewelry... a luxury to see both inside and out, the approximate duration of the visit is 1:30h.

Positive experience: I give 3 stars for the spectacular and different experience I had at the museum. However, they have some rooms closed due to Covid, and the portrait of Mar West is not enjoyable under the current conditions. The artworks have no explanations, and the museum doesn't have an audio guide; at least on its website, there is a virtual tour that inexplicably has more information than the regular museum visit. So the thing to do is visit the museum with the phone in hand and get the information from it.

Positive experience: Genius where there is, his works are unique and indescribable. It is a must-see museum. A large number of works, of all kinds, well preserved. Prices somewhat high (13€ regular entry) and few crowd control measures (people do not respect anything and the museum does nothing).

Positive experience: We visited the museum as we had been wanting to go for a long time, and it honestly surprised us quite a bit, and we really enjoyed getting to know the work of this peculiar artist. The entrance is a bit expensive, but it's worth it once in a lifetime. It's admirable how this genius managed to capture so many things within the madness. We also visited the jewelry room and were fascinated.

Fantastic experience: A visit that is more than required. An hour and a half from Barcelona via toll highway (26 euros round trip in total). It is advisable to buy tickets in advance although when we went there wasn’t much of a line since we had already purchased them. Visit the cathedral if there’s time, it’s right next door. With the ticket you can access the l’Empordà museum for free, very interesting if you like gastronomy. We parked in a dirt lot near Bonpreu. Don’t forget to visit the rambla, many shops and terraces to end the day.

Positive experience: It is a fantastic museum, you can take a very comprehensive tour of Dalí's life and works. Additionally, with the ticket, you can visit a collection of self-designed jewelry that we found spectacular. Highly recommended, but we believe that you could get more out of the visit by going with a guide, as the route was not very intuitive and was a bit confusing.

Fantastic experience: One of the reasons to go to Spain was to see Dalí's works, so Figueres is a must-stop. I took advantage of being in Barcelona to take the train there, be careful with the train schedules, as they are very limited and then there's no way to return. As you arrive, pay attention, you can feel Dalí in the surroundings. Impressive place, many of his works can be appreciated from afar. It's a bit challenging to walk in their 3 floors. I loved the egg tower, haha The jewelry stores are also a must, his art is everywhere, and his craziness too.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful place. You sink into the works of Salvador Dalí and his surrealism. It's more than an exhibition; it's about trying to interpret his works. For this, it is highly advisable to go with a good guide. In my case, I fell in love with every corner of the room; it's a great puzzle. It takes time to visit it completely, but give it a try. Live the surrealism left to us by this great artist.
