Positive experience: A style corner in Calonge does not disappoint its terrace, nor the attentive service. Ham croquettes are a scandal, as is mussels. The cod too small as a ration and the sauce a little sweet to my liking. The ovule of dessert highly recommended too.

La Jovita vermouth included two very rich vermouth, with two homemade preserves that were very tasty, some tasty olives and potato chips that were not good. We ordered a rice with blue lobster that was very correct, but at € 35 / pp I hope it is more than correct, exceptional. The coconut ice creams had hardly any ice cream. And if I'm going to pay € 145 for two adults and a girl, the details make the difference. The prices of the menu are not in line with what is offered

Fantastic experience: La Jovita Restaurant deserves 5 stars for its dishes and for its history. I will start with the feeling that prompted Esteve to name La Jovita. Jovita was a lady from Calonge who used to feed her neighbors in the town park. Esteve is a chef who told us about his journey through Asian cuisines, he cooks with great chefs and finally decided that his cuisine would be traditional. Many of her dishes are her grandmother's recipes made her own and the flavor is unbeatable in every bite you put in your mouth. The perfect environment, quiet and surrounded by plants in the area. Very relaxing and the design of the restaurant with caliu, as we say in Catalonia, cozy and with great taste. Step to the dishes that we taste, the croquettes are an explosion of flavor that takes you back to your childhood, delicious. Patatas bravas with a really surprising sauce. The pork feet with prawns also surprised us, a very successful sea and mountains. The squids!!! What texture and very tender. As we tried more dishes, the richer they knew. The macaroni is delicious. And the desserts are the icing on the cake, and never better said. I didn't have time to photograph the dishes, when I realized they had already disappeared amid sounds of satisfaction. Very nice staff and Esteve very close explaining everything we wanted to know. Finally, the quality / price seems to me to be 5 stars. The quality of the products is the best and it shows in the final result. It has been 3 months since they opened the Restaurant and I hope they do very well for their quality and enthusiasm. We will see each other again in a short time, to continue enjoying Empordà gastronomy with the touch that Esteve gives it. Thanks for the experience.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, well-cooked seasonal products, my partner and I loved the atmosphere. The light, the temperature of both the restaurant and the food and wines. Esteve is a great cook with a lot of experience and it shows in every detail. A place to go if you like to eat well or if you want to organize a meal where nothing fails.

The food was tasty, surprising and certainly sufficient. The only thing I would change? I would leave a little more time between courses. I noticed earlier this week that it is the custom here to quickly follow all gaits. Here it is advisable to ask if it can be a little slower anyway, so that you can enjoy extra. At the end you get the chance to order a delicious hierbas for a fee, in addition to three other liqueurs. I can warmly recommend the hierbas! A free shot would also be very nice

Fantastic experience: Just opened by great chef Garcia Vijanova and his wife who does an amazing service with her team (super kind and professional). Excellent wine menu with even a special vintage list, they also make their own Gin and a home made kind of digestive both are very nice! The food was typical local Spanish but at an amazing high quality level! I asked for something special for the birthday of my mother and the chef made something which we really enjoyed. Would definitely come back here again! Thank you La Jovita!
