Fantastic experience: Fabulous campsite! We have stayed in more than 10 campsites between Spain and France in the last two weeks and this has been by far the best. Ended up staying for two nights when originally only planned to stay for one. The facilities are top class and the pitches are very nice. The gym (including outdoor workout area) was probably the highlight of our stay. The pool (massive) is also top class. We did a CrossFit class with an enthusiastic and knowledgable instructor and really enjoyed it! All staff members we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the cheerful Zumba instructor!! Bathroom, restaurant, bar and supermarket/bakery were all more than satisfactory and the location of the campsite itself is ideal with direct access to a lovely beach and only a 20 minute walk to Empuriabrava centre. We will definitely return :)

Fantastic experience: There were six of us (4 adults and 2 children) on the summer holidays for 3 weeks for the first time at the Rubina Resort campsite. Arrival time was shortly after 11pm. A temporary parking space for an overnight stay was assigned to us without further ado. The next morning we were allocated the right parking space. We were a total of 2 vehicles, each with a caravan and three people each. We said when booking that we wanted to stand next to each other and not too far from the sanitary facilities. Everything worked out great. We felt so comfortable on the square that we will be going there for 4 weeks this year. For 3 weeks we paid 1077 euros per parking space for 85 m2. We found it completely ok. Electricity, water, sanitary facilities, sink areas and the large, great pool, all inclusive. --- Finally a campsite without that damn lunch break !!! --- and with reasonable input and Departure times: 7 a.m. to midnight !!! For that alone you would have to be able to award two more stars. The pool is amazing. I've never seen a pool this big before. It could be just 20 cm deeper. Otherwise I have nothing to complain about. The bar is also open until midnight or shortly before midnight you have to place your last order and then you can drink it in peace. The 3 restaurants also offer good to very good food. We took breakfast three times and had dinner there three times. The pizzas were price / performance perfectly fine, once there was something from the fries department, was also price / performance okay and tasted, and at the farewell dinner my wife and I had an excellent paella. Also very, very tasty with a very good price / performance ratio. It was a 10-minute walk from our pitch to the sea. So I wanted the Stelldrauf assembly lines from Mallorca Airport. It's a boring route. But what are 10 minutes ??? The sanitary facilities were constantly cleaned and the staff was also very nice. An absolute highlight was that a bus tour was offered to the Camp Nou stadium for 90 euros, including a ticket for the first FC Barcelona game after the summer break. The bus picked us up at the campsite, drove us to the stadium (well, not right next to it, you had to walk 200 meters) and brought us back to the campsite after the game (8.15pm - 10pm).
