Fantastic experience: I HIGHLY recommend a trip to this restaurant and a walk to the spectacular Rocas Encantadas after. I can’t remember having a meal with my wife that had us groaning with pleasure like this. The Amanida Vermella was an unusual but tasty combination of red fruits and veggies, including tomatoes and strawberries dressed with a herbed cherry sauce. Espatlla de Xai or lamb back was slow-cooked for 8 hours with the resulting meat succulent and rich. Complemented by a savory and sweet sauce and a garnish of potato slices, it was sinful. This was topped off with a homemade flan that will haunt me any time I try to eat a supermarket pot from my fridge. I strongly encourage you to try lunch and then take the trail to the Rocas Encantadas. A flat ~30 min walk through idyllic forest to a truly magnificent rock formation steeped in mythology.
