Fantastic experience: Visited as a group of 12 to celebrate a 50th birthday. Beautiful hotel in center of Begur. Rooms modern, comfortable, quiet and great housekeeping. Service by all staff is wonderful and friendly. Owner/manager was very helpful and thoughtful. Arranged to open beautiful roof top bar for champagne arrival, when it is still closed for season. Also recommended restaurants and always had great music around pool and breakfast area. A great stay all around and whole group enjoyed their time here. Will return.

Positive experience: Everything is fine except for the air conditioning, which you can't control directly. You must call the front desk to do so. We went cold. Parking is a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
Fantastic experience: Alta House is a charming hotel, with a garden, a pool and a beautiful 360º sky bar in the centre of Begur. When we arrived in town, we were given instructions to reach the hotel (it could be not easy if it is your first time in Begur, as it was our case) and later welcomed by Kamil, one of the owners. He is nice, helpful and very attentive as the other members of the staff. The standard double room is cozy and has a modern nordic design. On the other end, the bathroom is colorful and posh (I just found it a bit complicated to set the right temperature for the shower but maybe it’s been my fault ). Buffet breakfast is good, with a wide choice of sweet and salty food. In order to respect the Covid-19 measures and avoid having too many people at the same moment, on checking-in, we were asked to express a preference about our favorite breakfast time (really appreciated). Beach towel free of charge. Private parking nearby (5 mins walking distance). 3,00 € per day, as per mid July fares. Highly recommended, even because the property also has some apartment accommodations.

Positive experience: Ideal hotel! Perfect location, next to the center of Begur, spaces and decoration with great taste. We did not like that the hotel did not have parking, we had to park far away and walk to the hotel.

Fantastic experience: The hotel is first class and is located next to the center and free parking lots, all the staff are great and very friendly, they make you feel as if you were at home. The rooms are new, spacious and with all kinds of comforts and they also have a very cool pool and a roof terrace from where there are great views. Also highlight the breakfast with a lot of options to start the day well, without a doubt a place to repeat. We loved it!

Good breakfast but chaotic around 9:30 am (poor arrangement of products). Swimming pool yes but too small and shallow (do not choose this hotel for the swimming pool). Exceptional roof top.
Fantastic experience: A bright, comfortable and central hotel with a cool design. I really liked the black pool with the plants. It is a contrast to the other hotels in town. The receptionist is very friendly and close.
Fantastic experience: Amazing stay at this hotel. Very new hotel, quality room, incredible rooftop with panoramic views over Begur and very good cocktails. The garden and the swimming pool are extremely pleasant. The manager Qamil is lovely (like all his staff for that matter), and even took the time to buy flowers to help me surprise my girlfriend for her birthday. Fantastic experience: we have stayed in several hotels in costa brava throughout the years, yet this is by far our favorite. we had the most pleasant stay made even more special by the hospitality of the staff. breakfast was delicious, served with a warm smile and we got to enjoy it by the beautiful modern pool. the grounds are impeccable (as is the service) and the decor provides a chic ambiance in which we enjoyed our days. sitting on the rootop bar watching the sun go down, left me in awe of this beautiful town. each time we entered the lobby, we were greeted with warmth which made our vacation delightful. and as if this was not enough, the manager went above and beyond (well beyond) to help us when one of us got sick. he went so far as to bring us medicine from his home when all the pharmacies were closed checking-up on us throughout the night. thank you so much. we will be back in no time.

Fantastic experience: We stayed here for 5 days in September and it was perfect. The hotel was comfortable, clean, quiet, rooms were spacious and ours had a great little balcony with a beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious (meats, cheeses, pastries, fruit, cereal, toast, juice, coffee, etc.) The rooftop bar had spectacular 360 views of the town, surrounding mountains and coastline. We really enjoyed having sunset drinks up here and had fun chatting with one of the hotel managers, Camille. We loved the town of Begur, it was lively and had great restaurants. We especially enjoyed taking the 1 euro bus down the coast to Sa Tuna beach. The hotel was in the perfect location, staff were lovely (especially the gentleman who helped serve breakfast and bartended on the rooftop, thank you!) Our stay here was the highlight of our 2 week trip to Spain. Thank you, we'd love to return.

Fantastic experience: This weekend, we have been 6 people in the hotel. The place is done with a lot of charm and it is beautiful. The rooms are very quiet, they are taken care of in every detail and the breakfast place with the pool, although it is not very big, is beautiful. You can tell that it is new but also that they are dedicated to keeping it perfect in every corner. The breakfast is super good and the quality is excellent. I recommend this hotel to sleep in Begur, as it is a perfect place to unwind and its staff is attentive and pleasant.

Positive experience: This place is awesome : perfect rooftop, room decoration and great location but unfortunatly the frontdesk staff was terrible... We informed on our first day that the shower wasn't working properly : the mechanism to switch from overhead shower to hand shower was broken therefore we only had a small leak of water coming from both which was really inconvenient. When we told the management they already knew about the problem and said that they already called the plumber. After three nights there when we left they asked us if everything was ok and of course we said no because of the shower which was never fixed and they basically didn't care which is a shame when you pay 160€ per night for 3 nights... No explanation, no discount, nothing... anyway, it is really disapointing because the place is great but the frontdesk staff doesn't care. Hope for the next customer that someday they will fix the shower of room 21...

Positive experience: Good hotel, quiet and with new facilities, has a small pool that is very good, although there are few sunloungers, the room's fridge does not work, I guess the installation is not definitive. The parking lot is too far from the hotel, and it is more economical to pay the boy from the parking lot (€ 3.00 per day) than to the hotel (€ 8.00 per day)
