Hotel Casamar

Fantastic experience: our first night of this Spain summer trip. A wonderful start! We drove quite late, arrived midnight but the hotel gave us code to open the main door and our key was just waiting for us at the reception desk. Very clean and comfortable room and amazing view of the sea and beach, breakfast was healthy and delightful. Staff was so friendly. We ordered lunch, and I am so looking forward to it. Now sitting at our balcony with sea view and ready for a casual walk along the beach...:)

At the exit we write down the date for a next stay for Easter.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional family place. They treat you like family! Very attentive staff but without getting heavy. Mandatory stop for gourmets. They have a fabulous restaurant with a terrace and sea views. I personally prefer the interior close to the kitchen if it can be, and watch as the “chefs orchestra” prepare each of the dishes with “affection”. The kitchen has been renovated and is probably one of the coolest you can see (it is in sight and integrated with the dining room). The Hotel, although 64 years old is very well maintained and in good condition.

I ate the Alma menu, and it was exquisite, each dish a delight and the delicious desserts made it even better. It is a place with a privileged location on Llafranch beach whose restaurant obtained its first star in 2011. There you will find a close and super professional treatment, a super careful place and an excellent menu. Regarding the letter, you can ask: A la carte dishes: Seafood cuisine for about € 25 per dish approx. € 55 "short" menu: 2 starters, 2 main and 1 dessert Tasting menu of € 84: 4 starters, 2 main and 2 desserts We opted for the long menu and the truth is that we really enjoyed it. Fantastic experience: This is a great hotel. It is only two stars, but it is comfortable, quiet, and the personnel is excellent. They treat you naturally, kindly, and resolutively. You feel like being at home. The views over the Llafranc cove and village are also superb. Except for the breakfast, which was very good, we didn't eat at their restaurant because it was fully booked many weeks in advance! The restaurant has 1 Michelin star, but they also offer lunch or dinner menus for hotel guests if reserved with enough anticipation. The price of these menus was of 26 EUR/person in August 2018, which is roughly an average price in Llafranc. Try it. You won't regret it.
