Fantastic experience: VERY GOOD MENU The El Pedró restaurant is located in Pals and you can book a table inside or on the terrace. We booked a table on the terrace, for lunch at 1:30 pm on an April day with little tourism, which looked like it was going to rain. We were two people and asked for the € 37 menu per person which included everything. You can choose from 5 options for starters, main courses and desserts. For the first course we chose, one the pepper with goat cheese, and the other the xatonada. As a main course, we both decided on the grilled entrecote which was delicious and for dessert, a nougat ice cream with ratafia and caramelized walnuts; and the other the fountain cloth curd with strawberry sauce. From seeing a bottle of rosé wine that was included in the menu in addition to water, bread and both coffees I think the value for money was great.

Fantastic experience: A place to which I will return and the truth is that I recommend it 100%. We went one night in summer and the truth is that it wasn't the day to go to a terrace, it was threatening rain, but it was summer and... there we went. At first, everything was perfect and they started to care 4 drops and the issue was getting worse. I don't know how they did it, but in 3 minutes the waiters had picked up the table on the terrace and set it up for us inside, surprising. Kindness, 200%, sympathy, good food, ..... everything perfect, and what's more, when we left, logically we didn't have an umbrella and they told us, hopefully we'll find something and they appeared with a few umbrellas, logically they weren't new, but They weren't great for us. We will be back.

This time we ordered cheeks, cannelloni and the roasted apple starter and I have to say that both the service, the presentation and the quality of the dishes cannot be faulted. We shared a very correct goat cheese salad, and secondly a rice with lobster to lick your fingers (in fact that’s what we did). For dessert a lemon syrup with accompanying Peta-Zetas. Fantastic experience: Excellent service and food so tasty that I forgot to take a picture before it was gone. One of best meat croquettes I tried, foie gras was simply melting in the mouth. Cuttlefish was tender and the duck breast was grilled to medium beautifully. Turro ice cream with a dash of ratafia gave a nice Catalan accent to the experience. Chocolate coulant was perfect, especially if you love chocolate desserts. Overall experience was just delightful.

We had it many places in Catalonia but el Pedro did it best. Great service, not too pricey and located in the middle of the old city.

Fantastic experience: Short version:go there, you won't be disappointed. We parked our car just outside the old Town and walked up. The old village has a very nice medieval feel to it, it's nice. To be honest, I think the real must see is El Pedro. It is worth a drive! The dishes are really next level compared to all the touristic restaurants but El Pedro has a lower level pricing point. How they do it? It's beyond me. I had a fantastic starter, apple filled with minced meat and a great main dish, duck with forest fruits. My girlfriend had goat cheese salad and squid as a main. See attached pictures. Dishes were fast on our table and the service was splendid. They have kids menu's too and have kid's chairs. You can sit inside and they have a terrace. We felt a bit embarrassed by the price so we gave a big tip. We came from Tossa de Mar, which is an hours driving away but will come back next week. That's how good it is.

We were there with our 8 months old son and they were really friendly to us. We were directly given a seat for him. The food was also amazing. I would definitely love to come back and eat there again. It is a lovely place.
