A pocs metres d’on ens trobem ara mateix, al voltant del segle I ac, existia una terrisseria romana on produien àmfores i dòlies. Una dòlia, o dolium en llatí, és un recipient de terrissa per enmagatzemar i transportar aliments per la Mediterrània.
Així doncs, la paraula DOLIUM pretén recordar i reconèixer el patrimoni històric i cultural d’aquest paratge i també posar en valor una cuina saludable i equilibrada a partir dels productes de proximitat i de temporada.
L’alimentació és un aspecte vital en la nostra salut. Una bona alimentació ens assegura una vida més plena i ens evita malalties. Els productes amb els quals cuinem estan especialment elegits per contribuir al bon funcionament del nostre organisme. Així doncs, cuinem amb oli denonimació OVE, amb productes frescos i de proximitat, amb mètodes de cocció respectuosos amb els nutrients dels aliments. En la nostra carta no trobaràs farines i sucres refinades, tampoc làctics.
