Above the Puig above the village itself there is a castle with fantastic panoramic views of much of the upper Empordà.

As at the Cantina, the freshness of the crunchy raw vegetables and the quality of the cold cuts and meat dishes should be emphasized. We eat great local cuisine, simple but very tasty Don't forget to try the sangria. It is a wonder. A funny detail: it was one of the places where Marcel Duchamp came to play the rascal. In summer, Saturdays and Sundays, it is better to book.

Fantastic experience: It is a very nice corner in a very unexpected place. The problem is that before it was accessible from the side and up to the top of the waterfall, and now it is closed. Likewise, it is one of those places with its own identity within its environment. Especially in summer, since the sun barely reaches noon and with the humidity of the waterfall, a small almost tropical environment is created (in the absence of being able to compare ;-p). Right in that space there is a restaurant, the quality / price ratio is not worth it, little variety and little elaborate. If you are near the area or pass near it, be sure to visit this little corner of Alt Empordà !!! You can also go to the Boadella reservoir to see a little more water!

Nuri offers you a warm welcome (former manager of the Bar Restaurant La Cantina Requessens permanently closed) ... We love it, and it has become our favorite restaurant. Go there with good heart!
