July is the hottest month of the summer on the Costa Brava, so if you want to spend a holiday relaxing all day on the beach, this is the ideal time to do it. The temperatures during the day are very warm, reaching up to 30ºC during the day, so it is very important that you protect yourself from the sun's rays. At night, the temperature drops to 17ºC.

You have to bear in mind that this is the time when you will find more tourists, so perhaps you are more interested in avoiding the crowds on the beach and visiting small hidden coves along the Costa Brava, such as Cala Pola in Tossa de Mar, Cala Aiguablava in Begur or Cala Montjoi in Roses.

The Mediterranean Sea is at 24ºC, an ideal temperature for swimming on hot days. In addition, rainfall is scarce during this month of the year and we can enjoy the outdoors most of the days, taking advantage of the fact that they have 11 hours of sunshine a day.
