In August we welcome the wettest month of the year on the Costa Brava.
The temperature reaches 28ºC during the day and 17ºC at night. The days are hot and the nights are warm, surely you need a thin jacket for the nights.
Rainfalls are scarce and the few that do exist are short. That's great because during this month the fairs and the festival of Roses are celebrated. They are parties that last all day, with different activities for people of all ages, both cultural and sports. In addition, at night there are several concerts.
The water temperature of the Mediterranean Sea in August is 26ºC, a warm temperature to spend days at the beach.
