After a week long cycling trip that took us all over Figueres, the costal area of Palafrugll and Girona, we were looking for a relaxing day at Tossa de Mar. The hotel is quirky, but don't take that the wrong way. There are 7 rooms, all with a backdoor that leads you to the hotel's grounds. I took a long sauna, hopped into the refreshing swimming pool, meditated at the self-service bar that had wonderful views of the Med and town. The staff was unbelievable and took care of our every need. I asked them if I could borrow a few wine glasses and they just appeared. The on sight restaurant Can Sophia was fantastic (see my rare 5 star review) as you'd expect from a place like this. My only disappointment is that I only booked this for one night. Be advised that your taxi may have difficulty finding this place given its location, but don't let that change your mind! You may have to walk a little. If you're on your honeymoon, stay at this hotel, you'll thank me many times, especially when you see it...
