Fantastic experience: I was at Hotel Mas Pelegri to do some cycle training. The area is absolutely ideal for cycling - beautiful scenery, quiet roads, and some good climbing (with the stunning Costa Brava close by). My room was spacious and very comfortable, it was great to meet some other people with similar interests, and Gareth and Fiona went out of their way to help with bike routes, lots of bike advice, and even a bike fit. They even set up a desk in my room for the one day that I had to do some work. I highly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic experience: My family and I stayed at Mas Pelegri this summer and had a lovely time. My brother and I were training for our first 70.3 ironman triathlon and Gareth and Fiona's tips and knowledge were invaluable! We had a great swimming lesson with Gareth which really helped us improve our technique, we also rented road biked and we were recommended a stunning long local route - once again, Gareth's tips and bike fitting were extremely helpful. We also really enjoyed outdoor yoga in the morning with Fiona and the breakfast was spot on too! Both of them were great hosts and the facilities and location are absolutely stunning too. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was perfect and the heating rack for our towels was an unexpected and lovely added bonus. Every space in the main building was spotless and very tastefully decorated. Gareth and Fiona were lovely and very hospitable, from the free yoga session in the mornings, the complementary breakfast with freshly baked rolls to the overall attention they provided. Fiona even have us a 10 minute demonstration of aerial yoga, which we found very interesting and fun. She offers private sessions of this type of yoga to anyone interested. Our homemade dinner at the hotel was also very satisfactory, prepared with fresh ingredients from the area. The freshly baked bread gave dinner that special homey touch and they were even able to get gluten free bread for someone in our party. The suggestion of heading to Equinatour for riding classes and/or horseback rides through nature was fabulous. Eva and Rafa gave us very good service. This place is perfect for a weekend getaway from the city for couples, families or even larger groups. It’s also great as a destination in and of itself for longer stays. On top of the 6 guest rooms overlooking the beautifully maintained garden filled with blooming flowers, there are additional rooms in the main building, which also houses a nice terrace with a lovely view. There are plenty of exterior common areas where one can sit and read, have a picnic or just enjoy the view and tranquility of the place. The weather was still too cold for us to use the pool, but the lounge chairs provided us with the perfect spot to get some sun, enjoy refreshments and play board games which the owners provided. There is also an outdoor ping pong table and places to barbecue in great condition. The hosts have a lot of bicycles available for rent as well as excellent suggestions for walking trails through nature. There’s a good amount of cute and friendly cats which roam the area in search of food or some affection. One of the owners mentioned the cats had been in the area before them, and they took it upon themselves to get them veterinary care and have them sterilized to prevent the population from exploding to unsustainable numbers. As an animal lover, this showed me the kind of high quality people Gareth and Fiona really are and I was delighted to get to meet them. They are kind, selfless and conscientious people with big hearts. I definitely left wanting to have stayed longer in this idyllic and serene place surrounded by nature.I will definitely make sure to visit again the next time I’m in Spain.

Fantastic experience: We have spent 3 nights at Más Pelegrí and we have been wanting more. If you are looking to disconnect from the world, it is the perfect place. You hardly have mobile coverage (but if you need it, you have Wi-Fi), you don't have a TV so you don't know what's going on in the world, and you have endless forests and paths to walk quietly without crowds of people. The treatment with the family and the girl who works with them is magnificent and they make the stay perfect. Fantastic experience: Had an amazing time at the Mas Peligrí - the hotel itself is super relaxed and in a beautiful spot around half an hour drive from Girona. Our room was really comfortable and the breakfast each morning was perfect for fuelling up before a day out on the bike or running. The dinners we had there were great too. The owners, Gareth and Fiona couldn’t have been more welcoming - arranging road bike hire and giving us loads of recommendations for amazing routes in the area. Fantastic experience: We had a nice stay. It was a good combination between hotel and your own place. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, I can't stress that enough. The food was okay, the room was fantastic and there were fun locations nearby. Here is a list of improvements I suggest/compkaints I had: 1. Cats were quite annoying during dinner. 2. Maybe less english inspirations in typical spanish dishes (like beans) 3. I'm told this is everywhere in Spain, but there were a bunch of ants. They got in our food, maybe do something about that. 4. Very small thing: the ping pong table was askew, just like the floor. The ball would always roll off the terain. Maybe make something small in front of the fence so the balls don't roll away and put something under the table. But yeah, it was totally awesome. Don't let these complaints turn you off from staying here.

It is a rural hotel, if people expect a full service hotel, they are wrong about the place.
