Positive experience: The first day went well. At arrival the woman behind the counter (presumably the owner) recieved us with open arms and helped us with our luggage. We went with a tourbus and were in Lloret at about 7 am but, checking in was at 1 pm. The owner was kind enough to think ahead of us and offered us to "store" our luggage in her office until we could check in. At first it was a bit hard to understand her because her English was not very well. Nontheless a very kind offer. After wandering around in the city for a few hours, we could check in at the hotel. Checking in went fast and easy. After a few minutes we already got in our room. The room was nicely clean and offered two seperate beds. But since we are a couple, we would've liked to have a single 2-persons bed. But before we even thought about asking, the owner offered us to give us a 2-persons bed by the end of the afternoon while we were in town. As she said, when we got back in our room the bed was ready. The shower was OK. It was nice clean. Way cleaner then other 2 star hotels. The room was cleaned every morning. Now I don't know if that was standard or because we hang our "clean room please" on the door handle every morning. Breakfast was simple but good enough to get a good morning meal. We haven't tried the dinner. We instead went in town to dinner. A few things to keep in mind: * the yought sleeping here can get noisy. * the safe is cheap but not very big. * there are a very few wall outlets. * there's 1 jacuzzi so you might have to wait your turn. Other then that it was a great experience. Props to the staff who were very customer friendly.

Positive experience: Well located central hotel 3 minutes walk from the beach. Nice and smiling staff. They are listening, you can ask them what you want. Breakfast at the top, good quality and reasonably priced (17 euros for 2 breakfast for 2). Small room and not necessarily very clean but it goes. The shower door was broken but could close anyway. The bed was comfortable. Not a very good insulation of the walls. The jacuzzi is at room temperature unfortunately, we would have liked to enjoy it with hot water at night. But the roof terrace is fine with synthetic grass. Functional and efficient air conditioning. Charming terrace. For a 1 * the price / quality ratio is very good. Do not expect luxury for a 1 * and for the price. I recommend.
