In a quiet place, very close to the urban center of Planoles (a simple, clean and beautiful town) and close to the ski slopes, a few km of curves. What you have is what you need, basic and sufficient. Countryside, mountains, light, sun and tranquility. Impressive views of the valley, a central farmhouse where you can have a coffee or a drink, with a living room where a cozy fireplace heats everything in front of the bar-reception bar, a large relaxation room with xxl sofas, billiards, table football and TV perfect for a reading time, a space where children are distracted by playing their games, tables where they can chat with friends. The toilets are fair but clean and sufficient with their separate toilet, shower and laundry area. The camping area and bungalows are dirt, but everything is clean and cared for (it is countryside, not gardens). The bungalows have what they should have, heating, crockery, fridge, kitchen, bedrooms and living room with TV, relaxing porch ... In a small space, as is normal and usual. It does not have a store as such or a supermarket as in large campsites, so go prepared with your breakfasts-lunches-dinners. In the town you have a butcher shop with scandal pieces (attached photos), and in the bar you can buy something urgent, like wine or ice (at bar prices, yes, not super). And yes, there are animals, some dogs, cats and also cows, goats, geese and chickens, but they are neither disturbed nor practically heard. It is curious to read comments of those who go to the field and are bothered by the barking of a dog. The staff has been especially friendly, attentive to any need and ready to help you if you need more heat, ice or wine to accompany the meats that you make yourself at the community barbecue. We were on Three Kings dates and they had nativity scenes in different corners, children of families selling "jewels" made by them, a shit going through the door of the farmhouse ... And a fantastic landscape to take walks during the day or look for gamusinos at night. Who does not understand what family camping in the mountains means, better go to a resort. We will come back.
