Fantastic experience: Great place if you are traveling with your dog. Your buddy can be with you at all times and can go everywhere within the house. There are plenty of friendly dogs around. There are multiple common rooms where you can hang out, relax or play games. They have several board games, movies and books. The games room maybe would need an update as some board games are a bit ruined. The rooms are cozy, roomy and clean. Maybe the bed could be better but it was okay. Rooms have no keys, so when you leave you just close the door and that's it. In general, people there is very friendly so that shouldn't be an issue. Food is also pretty good. Dinner consists of a first and second course and a dessert. Wine and water for drink and there is also tea and coffee available. The bad part is that you can't choose any dish. The good part is that everything was excellent. Maybe if you are allergic or you don't really like something in particular you should give a heads up in advance just in case. Finally, there are some routes you can follow on foot directly from the house without having to take the car, which is convenient. The gardens were nice and there is also a swimming pool (we went on winter so no opinion about that). Regarding price, in my honest opinion it is somewhat expensive. The place is great but they make you pay for it. So maybe it is not a "low-cost" option but the quality you get in return is more than enough to justify the cost.
