Positive experience: Reserved a taxi from L'Escala to Gali Dala Castle in Pubol on Sunday morning. Quoted 55-60 euros initially but then told that they thought we meant Cadaques (which is double the distance). Told it runs on taximeter and no estimate given. Had two quotes from other taxi companies of 40-45 euros but went with Calderon as had more reviews and a better Google rating. Taxi arrived on time and was clean. Paid 46 euros at 2.5 km away from destination and walked the remainder as it was looking like it'd be 50-55 euros. May have been a misunderstanding on our behalf as we don't speak Spanish but does seem more expensive.
