The location of the apartment is excellent, right in the old town. Upon entering the apartment, you enter a large living room (with one of the most comfortable sofas I've ever sat on) with a table and a wardrobe that divides a small but functional kitchen, with induction stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and all kinds of utensils you might need - there’s a kit with a sponge, detergent, kitchen towel, salt for the machine, and even a water bowl for your dog, in case you travel with a pet - everything brand new. Leaving the living room, you enter a small corridor with a room at each end, where the largest has a quite large double bed, with extremely soft bedding of excellent quality, and a small balcony that overlooks Plaça del Vi, right in front of the town hall. At the other end of the corridor, there is another room with two single beds, and between the two rooms is the only bathroom in the apartment, which may not be very convenient for larger groups. But since it was just my husband and me, everything was more than perfect. The check-in must be done at the Hotel Ciutat de Girona, across the river, which was not an inconvenience for us. Their service was always very helpful - while in the apartment, you can contact them by phone if necessary. There is no room service or free cleaning in the apartment, unless you stay more than 7 days, but that didn't bother us at all, quite the opposite - we spent 3 days feeling like true residents of this city that won our hearts. We want and hope to return soon.
