I'll start with the positives of this apartment as there will be more negatives. Please be aware that I travel a lot around the world, I've stopped in all different hotels and apartments, and I always give positive and objective feedback. Apartment Elvira - positive: - beautiful view of the sea during the day and night from the living room/ breathtaking. Great location - literally 2 minutes to the beach and in the heart of bars, cafes, and shops. Very friendly and helpful receptionist - Neus. Thank you for all your advice. Amazing view on Fireworks Festival. - fresh towels and fresh bedding once a week. And unfortunately, that's all about the positive aspects. The negative aspects and very important are: - NO AIR CONDITIONING IN THE ROOMS AND THE ENTIRE BUILDING! At night at a temperature of 28-30 °C, and with the windows and terrace door open, it is impossible to sleep. A person sweats right after a fresh shower. The building is old, there is a restaurant at the bottom of the building, whose ventilation shaft (from restaurant kitchen) is located on the walls of the Elviras building, which causes constant noise in the back bedroom. The view from the bedrooms not overlooking the sea - terrifying. You can wave to the neighbors on the opposite side of the wall, you can hear your neighbors talking, their dog barking, you can inhale their cigarette/ splif smoke most of the night. I have to mention that it is impossible to sleep in the back bedrooms with the window closed, because otherwise, it is very hot and stuffy in that bedroom without A/C. Another cons - the car park - none - if you are lucky, you can find free car park space about 200 meters away from the apartment (if you are lucky). Otherwise, you may park on the road and pay for your parking space. Wifi - no free WiFi in the rooms. If you want to have WiFi in your apartment, you have to pay for tickets for 1 day/€5 - 3 days/€10 - 7 days/€15. *Important to know!!!!! .....one ticket for each device.☝ There is free wifi at the reception downstairs (reception is very small and very hot - no A/C). You have to provide your own toilet paper (not an issue), and you have to take your rubbish to the bin behind the buildings (about 200 meters away from the apartment). No toaster and no microwave. There is no proper ventilation in the bathroom. So I'm very sorry for my feedback, but I really do think Elvira Apartments needs massive improvement because, compared to the neighboring apartments, it stands out very much and stopped in the 90s. I still can't believe there is no AC in the rooms. These days, it is a STANDARD for A/C in the rooms with high temperatures outside.
