Fantastic experience: Stayed here for two nights in a 6 bed dorm with shared bathrooms. Arrived here in the morning. The hostel is easy to miss especially as there’s no sign outside the house. The only sign is on the door, which is recessed, so easy to miss. The room wasn't ready, but that was fine because check-in was afternoon and I was going straight to Figueres anyway and I ended up checking in about 8pm. I was shown the dorm and around the hostel which has a kitchen, a living room with a large table and benches, plus a garden area with plenty of seating. The whole hostel is kept very clean, I was a bit apprehensive about a dozen people sharing two bathrooms, but it worked out just fine. Both the bathrooms were really clean despite being shared with so many people. The dorm was shared with 5 others, but it wasn't too tightly packed together. It had a balcony with a couple of comfortable chairs and to help with the hot summer nights, there was a fan and an air conditioning unit, so I was able to sleep despite the temperature. Breakfast was included in the price and I thought it was good by hostel standards and for the price. Three types of cereal, fresh fruits, coffee, tea, cheese, bread, toast and even an orange juice machine. Location wise, it's very close to the train station and about 5 minutes walk. It's about 10 minutes walk to the Rambla and max 15 minutes walk to the old town. Around the hostel are several mini-markets within a 5 minute radius, although it's about 10 to one of the bigger supermarkets. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and if I'm ever in Girona in the future, I'd love to stay here again.
