Positive experience: We rented a "siesta" mobile home at this campsite. The caravan was neat and clean. It was a 6 to 7 person caravan. There was a nice open wooden extension to sit outside with an awning so you could enjoy the shade. The dishes were minimal, not enough pans especially if you're with 6/7 people: 3 small saucepans and 1 frying pan. The managers of the siësta caravans are friendly. They speak English. We arrived after a night of driving at 13:00 and were allowed to go straight into the caravan, which was very nice because normally you can only check in at 15:00. There is no parking next to or near the caravan. You can park your car in a secured parking lot. When you check in at the campsite, they register your license plate first, then you need to check in with the caravan rental company. After that, you can load and unload at the caravan and then park your car there. With a registered card, you can leave the parking area to walk inside to your caravan, first going through a door and then using your card at the revolving door. The campsite itself is beautiful, clean, and flat. It is located on the main street of Blanes, close to the promenade and the sea. There are 2 large swimming pools, a shop (supermarket), bakery, restaurants, and dining options near the pools, as well as washing machines and dryers. Security patrols in the evening. We weren't even allowed to have the phone radio on; no one heard our music, even the neighbors said they couldn't hear us, but they could hear people further away who were talking loudly, which didn’t bother us, but nothing was said. A whole family was driving scooters through the campsite, even with multiple people on one scooter. Kids were biking, which is normal, but as often happens, they don't pay attention to where they're biking or scooting. We also had scooters with us, which made it easy to get snacks or ride around the area, something that's done in Blanes and many places in Spain. It will be a new trend, I suppose, but we were also told here that we shouldn’t be scooting, even though we were only riding 5 to 10 km on the campsite and staying properly to the side.

The pool also closed earlier than stated. The restrooms by the large central pool had just been renovated and there was toilet paper available. The restroom building by the other pool was outdated, but it was spacious and clean, however, there was no toilet paper. This is really not acceptable for a campsite presenting itself as a 4-star campsite. There was also a strong sewage smell in the restroom building by the showers. There are indeed some points to improve on the otherwise beautiful campsite.
