Fantastic experience: We went on the Cap de Creus Experience. It's an outing organized by the center as part of a study and conservation program for the blue shark (Prionace glauca) in the area. They use their own method to search for and attract the shark, and you might get lucky, or you might not (they are wild, pelagic animals, you aren't in an aquarium). We were lucky, and a 1.2-meter, approximately 3-year-old blue shark came by. It circled the boat for a while, and then we went into the sea to snorkel while the animal got to know us (blue sharks are very curious, but also shy). It was an incredible experience. Additionally, the passion and love that Jordi and Carla have for what they do, along with their knowledge, make the experience even better. The activity lasts about 6 hours at sea. It’s important to bring water, food, and sunscreen. It’s not a cheap activity, but it’s worth it and highly recommended! If I can, I’ll go back next year.
