We rented a 38-foot sailboat in the area of Turkey - Orhaniye for 2 weeks, which were amazing. As we were going alone as a couple and without a captain, and in order to avoid dealing with the problems that can arise when dealing directly with local agencies, along with our inexperience in that country, etc., we decided to manage everything with TSCH. It was the best decision. The treatment from Barbara was exquisite at all times, both during the booking and in the video call we made, where she advised us on routes and gave us some very useful tips. Advice: The local agency was very thorough during the check-out. They even recorded the condition of the hull by diving with a GoPro. Duration: 1 hour. But the check-in was a shameful 10 minutes. Fortunately, I had my checklist and made a video of the boat's condition when entering and of the damage. Next time I check in, I plan to also check the hull because they try to blame you for damages from others or that they did themselves and which you did not cause. In summary, after reading several negative reviews: TSCH mediates between the local agency and the final client. Obviously, there are things beyond TSCH's control and they cannot be held responsible for things like the assignment of the captain as I have read in some comments or the customs fees! When one goes to other countries, one must be prepared to deal with all kinds of situations.
