Fantastic experience: My girlfriend and I hired 2 good quality road bikes for €65 per bike for all day. We had them from 8am-6pm. They supplied us with all the gear such as Lycra, Lights, Water bottles and Phone holder. They also helped us upload suggested routes onto our phones. (We chose a 67 mile circular) Tips: - I would recommend going the day before to save time on the day of hire, for things like bike sizing, filling out forms and uploading routes onto the phone. - We were lucky enough to have their daughter Alina there to translate our English for us. However if she is not there I would recommend having a translator app to hand. - Take identification as they will need a copy of a passport / driving licence. The business is family run and I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Stelion, Magdalene and Alina for your kindness, your time and your service. I hope to return again. Thank you.

The cassette was not right and there were strange noises coming from the bottom bracket. I had already noticed Stelian's bike shop as I passed by, because his workshop has a large window where you can watch. This impressed me and created trust. Fantastic experience: We highly recommend Tata Bikes for anyone visiting Girona. Today (June 2022) my wife and I rented two bicycles from Stelian and Magdalena of Tata Bikes in Girona. One was a THESIS gravel bike and the other an XDS cyclocross bike. We first visited the Tata store, centrally located in Girona’s Jewish Quarter, the evening before our ride. Both Stelian and Magdalena assisted us in selecting the appropriate bikes for next day’s ride. We explained that we did not bring our cycling shoes with us to Girona, so Stelian offered to have the bikes ready first thing next morning with the clipless pedals swapped for new flat pedals for our use. The next day, we arrived first thing in the morning, as planned, and the bikes were ready, and waiting for us. Stelian, Magdalena and their daughter assisted us in mapping out an appropriate cycling route, provided us with energy bars, equipped our bikes with rear seat bag/handlebar bag (complete with CO2 cartridges, extra butyl tube and tire levers). The bikes performed flawlessly over the 60+ km ride. We returned the bikes before the 6:00 p.m. soft deadline and told Stelian and Magdalena all about our day’s riding adventure. The hospitality demonstrated by the owners of Tata Bikes is unprecedented in our numerous dealings with bike shops in North America, and to a lesser degree, Europe. As described earlier, we highly recommend Tata Bikes for anyone visiting Girona. Stelian and Magdalena are fabulous and we are delighted to have met them in our travels.
