Positive experience: Unique way to admire the cliffs and beauty of Costa Brava. Easy for beginners but not for toddlers; friendly guides provided good instruction and guidance throughout. We took our five year old son who was a bit nervous at first. The guides were super kind and thoughtful. He had a blast and wanted to do it again! Our three year old son who is normally pretty adventurous immediately started crying when he saw the kayak and we had to leave him with grandma at the beach. The website says it’s for kids 3 and older but I would say it’s more realistic for 5/6 years and older. Unfortunately, the company did not return the money we had paid for the three year old so that didn’t feel great. For the tour, we took a snorkeling mask and water shoes which were nice to haves when we stopped in a little private 'pool' by the cliffs to swim. Swimming here was nice. There wasn’t much sealife to see underwater though. This was a nice time to swim, relax on the rocks and admire the cliffs. Kayaking portion was cut a bit short and we didn’t go very far because the wind was picking up and it would have been difficult to kayak back. Understandable but kayaking portion felt a bit short: we went from our beach around the cliff to see the beach next door, back to the cliff rocks for sunbathing and then back to the beach to return kayaks. We did the 4pm tour so a morning tour might have less wind and be better. From Barcelona, you can get here by bus from estación de nord, buy your tickets ahead of time! Or you can take the train to Blanes and a taxi to the beach (which takes longer but also works).
