Fantastic experience: We visited this Museum that houses the Fundació Joan Vehí. We were surprised not only by the facilities and the attention but even more by the historical and aesthetic potential of the photographs in both exhibitions. Congratulations.

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful day in Cadaqués and the museum tells the story of contemporary art that has contributed to the promotion of this cultural heritage, I highly recommend it for you to discover the genius ‍♂️!!! A true discovery from sculpture to gastronomy, passing through theology without forgetting anatomy, all in all, it's a cultural experience for 10€, which is generous!!!

Fantastic experience: Today we visited the museum to see the two photography exhibitions currently on display, one by Joan Vehí and the other by Oriol Maspons; both very interesting, two different focuses on Dalí and Cadaqués. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: On a visit to Cadaqués, we stumbled upon this photo exhibition on Dali. For a small price, we visited it with pleasure and what a surprise! The place has 3 levels. It looks new. There is exhibition space. The exhibition itself was very interesting. The reception staff are very pleasant and smiling. Thank you, ladies!

Fantastic experience: What a lovely little museum, located quite close to the church too. The receptionist was very friendly and I am sure she was part of the exhibition celebrating the culture of marriage and weddings in the town. I know for sure that; Rita from Hostal el Ranxo was pictured with her husband. I can say that, staying at her place was a delight. The exhibition of Dalí was great too, and such a nice intimate experience which showed mostly black and white images taken by his friend; a local photographer.

Mr. Kim, we are very happy and satisfied with the rating. We try to improve day by day the management so that the public knows the great cultural heritage represented by the Joan Vehí archive through the Foundation that bears his name and the Cadaqués Museum.
We look forward to your visit for the new cycle that will begin next spring.
Thank you very much

Fantastic experience: I had wanted to see Joan Vehí's photos for a long time. A natural and spontaneous Dalí who is not posing for magazines or television, the Empordà and particularly Cadaqués of his time. Very good service, a beautiful place, and good price.

We regret your rating, but you should know that in our brochures (tri-folds) we explain in 4 languages the name, the theme and, above all, we highlight the name of the photographer who is exhibiting. Our exhibitions are fundamentally photographic, although during the tour you can observe other elements such as objects, furniture, in addition to the small shop with exclusive material.

Fantastic experience: Very interesting visit. To visit it, you have to take a short walk (the public parking is 5 minutes away), which allows you to get a feel for the village landscape. Tickets are purchased right there at the entrance without the need for online reservation, allowing for some spontaneity. The content, provided by the Fundació Joan Vehí, focuses on the images of Joan Vehí about Dalí and the images of the village in the past. Images that can still be recognized on a walk through the town. I visited a temporary exhibition that amazed me greatly. 'Meli, Dalí, Cadaqués. A moment in Cadaqués' (1950-1990). I had the opportunity to see photos of a calm Dalí, nothing staged, stripped of his character. Surely the real Dalí.

natalia cebrià 09/11/2022

Positive experience: It's not bad, but it gives the impression that it's one thing and it's really a collection of photographs, which I suppose and understand that those knowledgeable in this art will appreciate, but I don't much.. and for the price it has, I wouldn't go back.
Translated from Catalan

Museu de Cadaqués
Yes, Natalia, it was a collection of photographs by Melitó Casals, about Dalí and Cadaqués between the 50s and 90s, as we announced in the media, on social networks, in the posters, and in the brochures. This is a proposal appreciated by lovers of analog photography, the Dalí universe, or the Cadaqués of the past. With the sale of tickets, books, and catalogs, they can support the Foundation.
We regret that you were not satisfied, still thank you for your visit.

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful walk in Portlligat, neighborhood of Cadaques, visit to the gardens of DALI's property, very playful with its little film portraying DALI's life. However, I couldn't visit his house because you need to book tickets a few days in advance online. But, it's just a postponement. Truly charming and so pleasant, I recommend this place.

Pol Molas 23/08/2022

Fantastic experience: Very interesting. They are black and white photographs from the years 1964 and later... of Dalí, Gala, and friends, depicting Dalí's life in Cadaqués and Portlligat. There is a strong connection with Joan Vehí. There are 4 floors with many photographs. In these photographs, you can see the private house and scenes from the lives of Dalí and Gala. Books explaining this exhibition and the life and work of Dalí can be purchased.
