Fantastic experience: On a cloudy Sunday we wanted to check some museum in the Girona area. We found this precious little museum on Google Maps. The location was not easy to find. It is located in a rural area in the small village called Raset. The next larger road is the GI-633 along the Ter. Don't feel weird when the road gets very narrow and bumpy… you are still on the right track. Already the old mansion is worth a visit. It is carefully restored with old materials. The beautiful courtyard invites to rest and enjoy the peaceful surrounding. The exhibition we visited is called STILLNESS. Paintings from 3 different artists are displayed. The artists are from different times and countries (Holland, Czech, Spain) but worked on similar subjects. In an outstanding guided tour, we were introduced into the transcendent theme that all 3 artists followed. We never experienced such a deep insight into the artist works. This small museum is a must visit for everybody interested in modern art.
