Fantastic experience: Highly recommended space to learn about the history of the Republicans' escape after the Civil War

Fantastic experience: Visit on a rainy morning on the eve of Kings, quiet and without people. Very interesting the section about the defeat and retreat of the republican army, defeated and pursued by the coup army of General Franco. Also very interesting the two temporary exhibitions on Fernando Vila and Cabrero Arnal. A very interesting and varied space that does a great job of recovering and disseminating historical memory in Camprodó. Congratulations.

Fantastic experience: We visited the Center for the first time, enjoying (a lot) the 4 exhibitions: 'The Retreat' (excellent, both for the number of pieces and for the graphic material and texts), 'Year Cesar August Torras' (of whom we had only heard about), 'Nature Photographs, by Pau Vilanova' (some of which even moved us) and 'Photographs of the 100 years of Maristany' (which allowed us to discover some curiosities about the famous promenade). A highly recommended visit, thank you!

Fantastic experience: It is a kind of museum where various topics are exhibited. The withdrawal of the Republican army through the Pregón pass and Coll d'Ares, which are not many kilometers from Camprodon. In the halls, there is diverse military material, photographs, and a documentary can be seen. There is also a room dedicated to the old Ulldeter refuge, with interesting photographs. On the ground floor, there is a room dedicated to photographs on other topics. The entrance is free and they usually open in the afternoons from 4 to 8 PM.

Fantastic experience: We found it by chance while walking in Camprodon. The exhibition on exile is striking. Goosebumps. In a war, everyone loses. Recommendable.

Fantastic experience: It is a very beautiful and interesting place, we have enjoyed it and were able to sign up for the guided tour of the passionate promoter of this exhibition, the farmer Lluís Bassaganya, who has been collecting, cataloging and unearthing objects from the war since he was very young, he is one of those who knows best the mark it left in the past and especially the retreat in the Valley of Camprodon.
