Fantastic experience: Wonderful kayaking experience with a professional team. A beautiful angle exploring Costa Brava from the sea. Both sit-on-top (anybody can) and sit-inside (some paddling mileage required) kayaks can be rented starting from €20 per hour for a double, and going down for longer times of 2, 4, 8 hours. Generally open every day in July-August and over weekends in June and September (call ahead to verify and book). Drive to the Catell Beach Parking (a small fee) about a 10-minute walk from the lovely beach. This is the southernmost location out of 4 of this company.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place! Save your money booking a tour if you have a car. Please note you will need to navigate to the parking area (which has a fee) since there is no direct access to the beach by car. Once you park it is a 15 minute walk through shady trees to the beach. I would recommend bringing shade since it is limited. However there is a full restaurant/bar that has a shaded seating area ON the beach that is affordable and takes card. If you don’t want to pack a picnic, this is a wonderful place to have a nice lunch or dinner. Bathrooms were clean and close to the restaurant. Little better than portable toilets and were in white wood buildings to keep them cool. There was even a larger one for those who need to change a baby or who have a large family with little ones. We rented the kayaks for an hour (20€) to check out the coast a little bit, a storm had finished blowing the day before so the water was a little rough but wow the views! You can definitely book for longer on calmer days and I could see how it would be well worth it. The rental place will watch your stuff for you while adventuring which is a plus! One thing to note is that when it is really warm sometimes you will see jellyfish on the shore so just keep an eye out and you can avoid them pretty easily. The Kayak people were nice and lent us googles to check out the fish swimming around the beach. We felt like we were in the tropics.

Fantastic experience: Took a 3 hour kayaking tour, super well organised, we were super kitted out (complete with sunglasses securing rope to safety jacket). The weather was beautiful (usually is I was told), kayaking around the rocky coasts was really fun. A motorboat comes with us that carries our lunch at a swimming spot mid-way.
