Negative experience: Upon entering this bar with my companion, we found it warm until our encounter with the manager, but we are not used to judging people based on first notes; however, actions are another matter... barely arrived, she parks us in a corner for two, we would have preferred to choose our corner for two ourselves since the bar was almost empty and choosing was possible. We had the impression of being neatly arranged objects so as not to spoil the decor. Following was a request almost whispered in our ears to settle our consumption. At that moment, it felt a bit too much as a welcome, but not knowing the why of it, we didn’t complain; I still tell her that I do not plan to stick to one drink unless, of course, we misjudged a bar for a restaurant and arrived at the end of service. Slightly embarrassed, she replies that no, the evening is just beginning, then she tries to justify herself by saying that people are coming and that it’s easier for her to navigate, (before the room is full and given the size of the bar, we could have had a few more drinks without pressure)... She only had to manage 3 couples and she was already stressed as if she was preparing a wedding, not to mention she was assisted by a friendly waitress who should teach her a bit about the job. I don’t know what the atmosphere is like with a bit more people, but she should know that smiling is not a crime, that being too rushed when there are few customers makes them flee, and that filling a room this way is all the more complicated, but well, it’s Cadaqués, fortunately for her, it’s probably easier with tourists who are not there for her pretty eyes, that’s for sure. I’ve seen reviews similar to mine, but visibly time has not given them any lessons.
