Fantastic experience: Descomunal! Unbelievable! Amazing blend of ingredients and mouthwatering food through and through. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on what chef(s) make. If dining as a pair, I highly recommend one or two tapas and a main dish for each person, followed by a dessert to share (the crema catalana de pistachio is excellent). Finish your meal with a “carajillo” (coffee + Baileys). Fab music as well. Very hip millennial place, not your traditional “Spanish” looking place. So recommend for people that are up to the challenge of something different.

Fantastic experience: In Tossa de Mar, in the heart of the pedestrian center, the Portal Restaurant is a great option to eat some spectacular tapas. It shows a very worked and first level kitchen. The best Tartar I have ever eaten…, but it is not possible to highlight a single dish. Must visit?

Fantastic experience: 2 words.. Bao Buns. Amazing! Also everything else was top as well! Highly reccomend. If you dont mind a short wait ( we waited 20 mins ) you can sit on the terrace and be spoilt for the night our order list was patatas bravas, gambas (to share) and bao buns.

If you are looking for local cuisine with a very contemporary ánd modern touch, you are at the right place. If this place was in a big city you’d be lucky to get a reservation. Duck cannelloni. Tuna tacos. Beef cheek. Mussels. Lamb tacos. And the deserts are just as good.

Definitely try their take on Patatas Bravas, I love the Portal Arroz and I really appreciate their Spanish/Catalan cuisine with some modern twists that are oh so delicious. The daily Menú is high quality and affordable, we keep coming back when we visit Tossa!
