What was our surprise when we met Josep, a PASSIONATE who spreads passion for his food ... for his mountains, for his own gardens "without sulfites" from where they choose the raw materials to make these exquisite dishes. The word exquisito .... IT IS SHORT! A reverence to the sister of Josep who is in the kitchen, with a care that seems that the dish they serve ... are always worthy of the best family Christmas dinner. Plentiful dishes, and very elaborate .... and also all kinds of grilled meats. We started with a table of sausages ... that we have been left open-mouthed. Cannelloni for children .... NEITHER HER GRANDMOTHS MAKE THEM SO RICH! Mr. Josep, as it was the first time we came (of course it will be the first of many), he recommended the 4 adults to share first courses and we had asked for 4 seconds ... but he told us that with 2 dishes for the 4 would be more than enough .... thank you! I do not know how the dessert fits :-) A wine "of the house" of proximity, red with a touch of Grenache. Mr. Josep is an expert enologist and mycologist. A star dish of this farmhouse is taken from a trilogy of recipe books of the fourteenth century: CALLERY OF PORCELL AMB SALON OF TARONJA AMARGA I OLI OF ROMANÍ. Pork tenderloin with an incredible sauce, tender meat ... exquisite. The second dish, we had already recommended it: Bacallà amb mel i panses. Cod with honey with prunes. The honey is self-produced and sneaks on a slow fire through the middle of the cod, to end up on the bottom of the dish creating a gelatinous sauce .... delicious! First we have asked for and shared between 4 (because the "cazuelitas") are made of clay of a BIG size. Chickpeas stewed with pork and pork ear .... we have devoured and even bread! The clean clay pot has been left !!! Eye that comes another :-): Cazuelita de habitas baby (of own production in its orchard) stewed with black sausage, white sausage and bacon with chunks. Some aubergines stuffed with vegetables from their garden and salsa .... ufff .... that tastes so exquisite !!!! And now ... to not stay hungry we have also shared cannelloni !!! MOTHER MIAAAAAA ...... or climb the castle 100 times walking can with all these calories. Voleu dessert Do you want dessert ??? We have resoondido no gracias ... BUT CLEAR .... an ice cream - nougat texture of almonds jijona, with chocolate base with orange sauce, children homemade tangerine ice cream .... that have given way to coffees, that we have taken in the beautiful outside terrace, surrounded by a landscape without equal, while the children had fun in a small park (swings, slide and a small house for children).
