The manager smiled, gave us a glass of Cava and took us in hand to explain how we would be ordering fresh seafood displayed on a bed of ice at the entrance. Behind the fish display is a young man whose job it is to explain the many varieties of seafood and shellfish. Coming from New York there were a number of items we were not familiar with. No matter. He made us feel very comfortable and took great care in helping us craft a delicious 3 course meal. The manager in turn took us though a tour of great Catalonian wine before we settled on a great Cava to accompany our seafood. The waitstaff was very professional and even suggested places to visit outside of Girona on the Costa Brava. All in all an excellent customer and culinary experience that exceeded our expectations. Definitely coming back next year.
